Agreed with pretty much all the reviews that this place does the best fish and chips in Perth but how come it took 28 minutes (time on till receipt until my single portion of fish and chips was ready) on a quiet Tuesday evening? Each time I've been there recently the service has been slow. The affable Scottish gent who's usually keeping things in order hasn't been there for my last few visits and maybe that's why.

A taste of home, this place is a proper chippy, with proper portions. Me and my brother-in-law decided he was gonna treat us to good food, we had a fairly big order for 4 adults. The staff where polite, and very hard working, we had maybe a 15 minute wait which I thought was a good time for a such a busy place. The order was correct and fresh. My partner was super happy with the piece of fish and taste of it. The Haggis was good. The burger was a little greasy but had good flavour. And the sausage and chips was perfect. Overall the young girl that served us was efficient and polite, the food came in good time and was all fresh, and it was reasonable priced for the amount we got. If your in the joondalup, currambine area definitely get yourself into The British Chippy, and if you live a further a field then they have you covered too, they have a eating in area to sit down and enjoy the great food.

As an English couple, we have been craving chippy chips for so long and ventured up from Scarborough for them. We got our other English friends some F&C too. Needless to say, we will be back. The gentleman who served us was so lovely and it seemed like the staff enjoy working there. Thanks for our chippy tea!

Been craving a pizza crunch so came up today and it did not disappoint! Worth the drive. Food was amazing- pizza crunch was lovely and so were chips,portion huge couldn't finish it all! Happy husband as they also had chippy sauce. Staff very friendly will definitely be back.

Delicious British style fish and chips. Cod and hand cut chips but have Aussie style chips for those who like a crisper chip. Good selection on menu
