The Bavarian Wollongong

Stood in a queue for an hour for the "grand opening", left when we were told "just another 5 to 10 minutes" for the 3rd time.

Been closed since I arrived in Wollongong. Strange considering that other restaurants are still open and doing very well. No word from anyone on when to expect it open again.

Absolutely fantastic! Although a tasting platter can easily feed 2, and the the pork tasting plate for 2 easily fed 4. Been here a few times now and cannot fault them

Wonderful food and a great experience. Huge share tables, so dont expect privacy. Huge beer selection and even bigger sizes. Highly recommend getting 1 litre of your favourite beer, definitely try the german beers. A large list of schnapps, all very delicious and brought out with a ringing cow bell, so dont expect to have a sneaky shot. The food is wonderful, we had the share platter. Schnitzel and pork are to die for and you cannot beat a good german snag. The chicken wings are also really good, be prepared if you order them as you honestly get an overwhelming amount. Overall a great place to dine and drink. Will definitely be returning for some huge beers and schnitzels.

A must go for anyone in Wollongong looking for great German beers and food. The staff here are alwaya welcoming and making sure you're having a good time!

What a great experience!! Lovely authentic food with service to match. Thoroughly enjoyed our night, experiencing the best Indian food I have ever eaten, as well as the familiar favourites done the authentic way. Will definitely be returning with family members. Came with my family on mother’s day, staff were attentive, polite and engaging, even had a few laughs with them!

Happy hour 4-6 brings us in and the friendly staff keep us coming. Can’t recommend this place any higher. Cheap drinks and if it’s quiet enough y’all have got to talk to my main man Paul. Great recommendations. Also try honey schnapps. It will change your life

Just ate the Munich Brewers platter and it was fantastic! Will be going back to try the rest.
