Shop 3 Allnut Tce 6290, Augusta
Honestly, don’t bother. Asked for no onion - we were disappointed to find onions all through it. It appears as though they’ve already cooked or partially prepared the dishes and have no leeway for any dietary changes. Basically if you don’t like onions you’re just going to get celery. And some meat if you’re lucky. They’ll pick out a few bits of onion but if it’s too hard they’ll just serve you up the onions. Honey chicken - don’t do it! It’s precooked, mushy and it’s pot luck whether you’ll get the pork version. It’s served up with a very tasteless honey sauce. Maybe they added a teaspoon of honey to some other bland sauce and that’s all you get. Soggy and bland. They really deserve for another Chinese restaurant to open and get more business. It doesn’t take much to do an honest job, do things properly! Not worth the money.
Basic chinese dishes that are good to fulfil craving for Chinese food. Fried rice is good. Curry taste more like Japanese curry, not spicy and suitable for kids. Fitter food with sauce is not recommended.
Very polite and friendly staff, Delicious food. Fair price. We ordered a small amount but we were surprised to see more than we expected. I have been going there since I was a small child and I don't have a single bad memorie of the place. Would definitely recommend.
Proprietor and his wife run this business alone. Unable to attract wait staff and kitchen hands. Food still arrived in reasonable time and was of high standard. We were a table of eight who all enjoyed the experience. Recommend this restaurant to all who visit Augusta. Very friendly people.
Great food, very tasty, friendly service. Did not get a photo of the dishes we ordered, but there was none left over.
We had dinner 19/2 and all dishes were small and not value for money. Sizzling garlic prawns came with 7garlic prawns and a heap of bits and pieces for $26. Large fried rice only enough for 2 people. Ordered two servings for 4 people. Qualitye of food good but too spicy for our friends. Service friendly. Won't be in a hurry to go back
New owners are not experienced restaurant owners. They were cooking one dish at a time. Small problem when trying to manage a $400 takeaway order, a table of six & a table of two. Table if six waited 2 hours for their food while table if two waited 1.5 hours. A table of one left in disgust. Give them some time to learn the ropes and check their capacity before ordering - oh, and give any restaurant plenty of notice when placing large take away orders.
Lovely family run restaurant that truly delivered exactly what we were craving. Good value, good food. Recommend highly.
A very warm welcome by the manager, who was so nice. Prices very reasonable considering.
Underwhelmed. Very small amounts and pieces of protein in the dishes. Mostly veggies. Not great value, considering they charged $20 per dish. See photos for Seafood combination, Satay Beef and "special" Fried rice. Flavours Ok. Note: A 1.5% charge for EFTPOS card use.
