The Apollo Restaurant

My partner and I come here every year for our anniversary/birthdays, and get the full Greek with ouzo. This was a disappointment and will be our last visit. Food quality and presentation were well below average. Service was ok...The entrees were good, even though the presentation used to be much better. Lamb was truly terrible. It was dehydrated to the point where we just couldn’t swallow it. It was also presented in a way which looked like it was a left over from the previous day. This used to be one of our favourite spots, but unfortunately, it just felt overrated this time, and we won’t be going back anytime soon.

Was here a couple of weeks ago, it's always full but the service is still quite good. The Saganaki Cheese was my favourite dish however the Lemon Curd dessert came very close behind. Overall a good experience, though the Chicken lacked flavour and the spinach pie filling was not mixed well(though that might be the way it's made).

Shout out to Milo for making this experience even better. Great food. Great drinks.

Long tables with amazing Greek food. Sharing plates galore, everyone will walk out full full full. Service is great, this would be perfect for anyone that is super super hungry. And in need of good Greek food. Or people that like coriander in your cocktails ha! What to eat here: the lamb, the pita and the potatoes! WARM PITA BREAD $4 EACH OLIVES $7 TARAMASALATA MULLET ROE DIP $12 - to die for SAGANAKI CHEESE HONEY OREGANO $17 OVEN BAKED LAMB SHOULDER $40 ROAST CHAT POTATOES GARLIC HERBS $12 - these are ridiculously crunchy and addicting

It’s my first time in Apollo I have the best experience. After all this pandemic. Thank you the most nicest Bartender He’s name is Alex, he’s so hardworking and really lovely person, He make a really good Drinks, It’s really worth it for everything and will definitely go back. Keep up the good team.

As a Greek I rarely visit Greek restaurants: why eat out when family cooking trumps it? So always a bit hesitant when I got invited by a friend but just loved The Apollo. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The lamb is a must, spanakopita amazing and taramasalata just perfect. Really great experience

Karrah was our waitress and she was fantastic. Was very helpful and made ordering easy. Food was delicious.

Great service, great atmosphere, good amount of food for the price. We ordered the full Greek menu and found that it was very generous. Although the food was good quality and very well presented, we were not impressed by the flavours. The highlights of the menu were the dip and the filo pastry dessert. The "lowlights" were the grilled cheese ( too heavy and sweet) and the lamb ( it was a little pasty).

Amazing food, great service and met all my expectations and more. We went for lunch with a group of 4 and decided on choosing our own plates to share as opposed to the set menus. Happy with our decision as we got to taste every dish we wanted! We ordered 4 entrees, 1 salad, 1 side, 2 mains and 3 desserts, which was more than enough, but we ate it all! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a modern Greek feast. Will definitely be back again soon.
