The ASTOR Bistro

We had the pulled pork and the smoked brisket. Servings weren’t huge in size but very tasty and we were not hungry after. Popular place. Accomodation available. Bistro wheelchair accessible as well as bottom bar. Wood fire pizza also available.

I have a very pleasant experience at the Astor. The mood was quite relaxing and warm. The food was delicious, I loved the calamari and surprisingly Rebecca enjoyed the calamari also.

Always great food, decent prices just need to make it there when they have the smoker on....

Had a great steak there. Warm atmosphere on a very cold night.

The food at the Astor used to be fantastic, but tonight I got what used to my favourite there, beef and sweet potato salad, but unfortunately it was made up of 90% salad leaves and the other 10% the other ingredients. Why on earth would I want that for dinner?? Extremely disappointed.

Disappointed, stopped in for dinner last night tempura prawns sauce container too small to dip prawns in , BBQ pork looked amazing but very dry , pumpkin chickpea burger had that "sweaty" Smell to it when prep is slightly older . Friendly staff great beer garden and atmosphere. Cold beer! 🍺

Had a great stay in the Astor Suites side of the hotel, lovely big modern room comfy bed, Great Bistro and Bar, Friendly staff.A great stay.

Great local pub with a beautiful parmy. My father and I were travelling from Brisbane to Melbourne, would definitely stop again for another meal and a beer, kind service with a great local smile :)
