Had dinner here for my birthday. The 8 course were lovely and was a really good experience. The staff were all friendly and the ambience is relaxing. They served me a lovely cake for my birthday and I really appreciate it.

I had an amazing fine dining experience. The food and cocktails were tantalizing & exquisite. My favourite dish was the Ocean trout! It literally melted in my mouth! Tasted amazing! So fresh and mouth watering ❤️ I think I enjoyed the seafood dishes more than the meat/dessert dishes, but I love my seafood more than anything. I loved the oysters also!!! (They were add-ons) and the caviar was to die for! 🤤 I also love my desserts but unfortunately the desserts didn’t capture my heart this time. The dessert presentations were amazing! My favourite dessert would be the chocolate stone, so smooth and velvety 😍 Very pleasant and light to eat. The customer service was exceptional. They were super friendly & attentive. And they also checked if there was any dietary requirement, so they could cater to our needs!! They definitely looked after us through the whole dining experience.

Had a 5 course lunch with my husband. Honestly I couldn't understand what was fuss all about this restaurant. I read food critics' reviews a long time ago and put eating at this restaurant on my bucket list. First three courses out of the 5 course meal were tuna, trout and coral trout. Not much variations. Quite disappointed with the famous chef and owner. It was just me alone who sensed laziness or lack of ingenuity of the chef? The whole meal and service gave me an impression of dull mannerism and non existence of creativity. Besides, just because it is a fine dinning cuisine, it does not mean patrons feel still hungry even after finishing the whole course. Fairly disappointed with dessert too. Dessert tasted just bland. Such an unremarkable and mediocre food for the high price. Won't bother to go back to any of this chef's restaurants. And won't bother to read food critics' reviews from now on. That legendary trout just tasted so so. No wow factor or no bang for the buck.

It was wonderful Sunday launch in the rain. You may feels dinning in the traditional japanese mansion. The food may not gives you strong feelings but like any other japanese quite understated taste. Personally, scampi with vanilla and citrus was the best.

Had a great lunch experience last week…. Most of the best comments have been said before and I agree with them…. It’s a class above the rest and for three and half hours it never stopped being good
