We had a really good experience at Tetsujin Japanese BBQ. The food was delicious and portion sizes very generous. The Wagyu beef combination for 2 people was outstanding. So many flavours! Will definitely come back for more of this. Service was decent. General atmosphere of the place was nice also. One star lost for the quality of the cocktail we had. The Final Fantasy (great name!) tasted like cheap cordial and not at all worth $23. Such a let down compared to the delicious food.

Food and service is great but the BBQ area of the restaurant is very cramped and feels like chaos all around. very busy and fast paced vibe. Not that great if you have younger children about. Nonetheless the food is good. Not sure why Korean pop background music is playing in a Japanese themed restaurant though.

Tetsujin is a place for all your senses. The popular sushi bar is good value at $3.90 for most plates, which can also be ordered a la carte in the BBQ area at the back. All the sushi orders came out together without too much wait. The soft shell crab hand roll was the best, with a satisfying blend of textures and an enjoyable, spicy kick. The remaining sushi were very edible, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they were memorable. Service was friendly and helpful. The pumping music livened up the atmosphere for indulgent eating and drinking. The place closes rather early though at 9.30pm and if you sit in the BBQ area, definitely need to wash your hair and do your laundry after!

Great experience at Tetsujin - ordered a BBQ set, sukiyaki and some drinks. Huge variety of fresh, high quality meats, solid portions and a very good drinks menu! Service was great and was pretty good value for money. Didn't try the sushi, but would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The food and service is getting worse and worse with expensive prices. We had sashimi and oyster which are not fresh, especially oysters that are small and smell rancid. Beef quality is not good either. Pork belly has too much fat, almost no lean meat. What's worse is that the shell crab is too salty and burnt- bitter taste. I can’t understand why they cooked so badly like that! Last time we also had this problem but thought they were only negligent 1-2 times. We tried to give them another chance but they cooked worse than before. Nice place and some of the staff are nice but the girl having long hair is quite rude and doesn't want to communicate with customers- she never smiles too. Will not be back and waste money anymore

The sushi train is here is pretty good. I've certainly had better but for the price you pay and the amount of food you can have, I think it's good. It gets crowded even after peak hour for meal times so be prepared to wait especially on weekends. They've been very consistent in terms of quality so it's a place I go back to time and again.

A lively and nicely decorated sushi train in emporium. The variety of sushi is alright and the quality is pretty good. The prices are probably average for sushi train and the service is pretty quick. Overall not too bad, just wish they could make the rice with hand and not the machine. Service could also be improved abit.
