This is the best Kolo Mee in Melbourne by far. The noodle is just right and the chilli pickles add a bit of sourness without over powering the whole dish. Will definitely come back and recommend this to anyone for their noodle fix.😊

Serves up authentic East Malaysian food that is becoming increasingly popular. Really enjoy their laksa with soft shell crab. Yummy

First visit today and the quality of food far exceed my expectation. It’s a cafe in the church so I was rather skeptical at first. If you have a love for Malaysian food, THIS IS THE PLACE!! I was told the menu changes every week so looking forward to my next visit already, yum! Sorry my photo is not doing justice for the sumptuous nasi lemak

Heard so much about this place and I decided to take away this morning. Ordered online the day before & arrived 10minutes earlier to collect. Ordered the soft shell crab Sarawak Laksa, Nasi lemak red chicken and pulut panggang. I bought 3 portions of these for my best friends. What I’m surprised is the lady serving me! Sure is grouchy and not friendly at all. There were not many customers there but her attitude is really bad👎🏼 If she’s not good with customer service, should just asked her to stay in the kitchen instead! But the young man helping her really made my day. Not only was he friendly, he was courteous at all times. Although I had a bad experience, I still want to give 5 stars for the food. It’s really yummy 👍🏼 Keep it up……..and please train your staff too😉

Having lived in Singapore for 18 years, Sarawak Kolo Mee had been my big time favorite for years from the first time it touched down there. So I was so excited to find this place, very cool location, clean, spacious. The moment I saw Kolo Mee was in the menu, no second thought, ordered right away. The noodle texture was as I remembered, curly and soft and yummy. But the taste and smell of the whole bowl threw me off a bit.... sour and tangy, instead of sweet and aromatic. I suspected it was too much vinegar (IMHO). Would give it a go again next time to confirm whether it would stay in my bucket list. Do try it yourself, don’t trust my taste buds fully. Cheers.

Went at wrong time. Extremely busy, very long queue (not why I gave 3 stars). Kolok noodle (only the noodle) is one of the best I tried in Australia, but no where near original Sarawak kolok noodle. Very sour (I am referring to normal kolok mee, not o Cho noodle). Tasted about the same as o Cho version. Teh Tarik doesn't have much taste of tea, but coffee was ok. Very slow like another comment from someone else, and kept hearing staffs get "lectured". The cha Sao was good. Chaikueh was reasonably good. (See photo of normal kolok vs O Cho noodle, the one with fish ball is O Cho version)

Score : Food - 8/10 Service - 10/10 Ambience - 9/10 Ordered the Sarawak Laksa and Teh Tarik. Sarawak Laksa has room to improve as the soup has concentrated shrimp paste. If they dial down the shrimp paste, the dish would be wonderful. Teh tarik was properly “pulled”, but the milk was too much, as the taste of tea was too mild. *** Tried the Kon Lo Mee too, this dish is Value For Money and it is an exact replicate of the ones you get in Sarawak.

Can't believe there is food this good at a place like this (it's a church's cafeteria).

Went there with a friend for some Asian delights. Had Kolo mee while my friend had Sarawak laksa. Very nice and no complaints since it’s rare to find authentic Asian cuisine. Between us we bought the varieties of nonya kueks and curry puffs. Happy! Photos next time. Too busy eating.
