Tattersalls Hotel Armidale

This wonderful hotel has to be seen to be believed. The art-deco refurbishment is fantastic. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable. The staff are friendly, and professional. And the restaurant should receive awards. And every aspect of the hotel operates to try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Amazing food. Service could do with a little work.

Excellent service and food

Stayed here for two nights, and also enjoyed a lunch in the restaurant and a cocktail in the 'Ladies Lounge' bar. The hotel is modern art-deco style, very comfortable, rooms are well designed, and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would echo a previous reviewer's praise of Matthew at reception who made us feel very welcome, as well as the lady who was there when we checked out (whose name I didn't catch) who also helped us with the WiFi during our stay. Food and service in the restaurant were great (if on the pricey side) and the bar was a nice place to relax with a drink. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Armidale.

I honestly can't rate this hotel highly enough. We stayed here for a family wedding a few days ago and we loved it so much we booked back in! Beautiful rooms, extremely clean, great restaurant and bar and the food is amazing. The most important thing to me is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They ensured the wedding was the most wonderful day.

We had dinner with the kids and left pretty disappointed. Kids meals were so small we had to order an extra hot chips and then went past the supermarket on the way home. Our main meals came out about 20 minutes after the kids had already finished eating theirs and we also noticed many other people who had arrived after us had been served. Both of our meals were ok however one of them appeared half cooked (herb crusted barramundi).

Hotel was nice presentation restrauant was Okay spaced well but pricey.
