Tattersalls Hotel Armidale

Lovely one night stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the ambience of the Garden Bar and the room was very clean and nicely appointed

Art deco renovation is incredible, so many great details. Superior Queen room was smallish, opaque windows painted shut (no fresh air) but otherwise excellent.

Way better than I expected from a small country NSW town! Beautiful food and perfect cocktails, attentive service with excellent recommendations served in a large, well spaced dining room. Sydney food snobs make note, you can eat gourmet in the country.

A very enjoyable meal in a well decorated restaurant. The food was very well presented and tasted delicious. Highly recommended for overall experience ,we would return on another visit to Armidale

Excellent meal with great service. A little pricey but this is a proper restaurant and there aren't too many of those in Armidale. Strongly recommended.

Queen room a bit small but action packed with facilities, clean and stylish! would come back.

The food is ok but way overpriced. Once there in the garden the pizza was overtopped with cheese and very heavy to digest, waiting time over 40min.. The next time was in the restaurant inside, a platter for two with small pieces of cheese and meat was $35.. the seafood and mear paella was not close to the original one, there was a small piece of lobster (not the red one but the lower quality tiger lobster).. max two small pieces of chorizo and no chicken at all... portion for one was $70.. way too much. It's ok to dine there if you are looking for fancy presented plates and you want a good service (even though we asked wine and the waitress forgot to send the order, so we started to eat with no wine)

Wonderful staff, accommodation and food. What more could you want! Would highly recommend. Thanks to Mathew in reception and Amelia in the restaurant for making our night memorable. Vicki

Better than expected. Room was great. Private sitting rooms awesome, outside bar fantastic. Staff were all extremely helpful and enthusiastic to make our stay great. Thanks.

Had lunch here while passing through Armidale. I agree with the previous reviewer that food is pricy for a country town (e.g. salad 18, mains 38, desert 17) but cannot fault beautiful presentation, taste and service. Inviting atmosphere. Staff very polite. Everything is comparable to a fine dining restaurant in Sydney or Newcastle.
