100 Grote St, Adelaide
Nice food. The serving size is very generous.
Thumbs up to Waitress response and her smile 🙋
It was my first time it was awesome ! Such delicious
One of the best Uyghur Halal restaurants in the city. Among many good food items I tried the lamb soup and rice. The lamb soup had a lot of meat and the bowl was was huge. Adding a cup of rice filled up my stomach. Cutlery, sauce, salt , pepper, water etc are kept separately you can get anything you want. The staff did not speak good English but was able to convey the message. Price seemed to be very reasonable and I’d go there again to try other items like lamb dumplings and pilaff rice.
Great food, I loved the lamb skewers, the lamb dumplings, and the lamb soup. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is working super hard, so just be patient, pick up some menus and water yourself, do what you can to be helpful. The day we were there the kitchen was slammed w many people all showing up at the same time, it took a bit to get our order in, but after that food arrived very fast.
Love this place. The only Uyghur restaurant I've been to and honestly the only one I want to go to. Been here couple of times and while the service is a little slow, the wait is worth it. The food is absolutely delicious. Must try the samsa and lamb and chicken skewers. Succulent and flavoursome meat. Their cumin lamb with crispy naan bread is one of my favourites. Dumplings and noodle dishes are amazing as well. Can't wait for the next visit. 😊
Favourite restaurant in the whole of Adelaide. Beautiful food, beautiful owners and lovely atmosphere. Every dish is amazing in its own way. I would come here everyday if I could!
Tangritah Uyghur Restaurant has really surpassed my expectations. It was one of the Best dinner. Chicken Skewers, lamb skewers, wings and many other charcoal grilled dishes were great. One can try any and get the best of Uyghur. Booking a table over the phone was easy, and to reach there was even easier. It is located right by Adelaide Central Bus Station (North side) on the Grote Street in a beautiful historical building. Parking could be a hassle depending on what time you go. Commuting by public transport could be a good option. The hospitality was great. Staffs are really patient and humble. We found them to be really cooperative. At one point, we ordered spicy Chicken curry with gravy as we were all taking a bowl of rice. Curry with gravy wasn’t listed in the menu, but the attendant said she will inform the cook and he will do his best. When it arrived we were surprised to taste it. Really amazing. We were not expecting such a delicious dish again. We all had a great time. Fully satisfied with the quality and taste of food they serve. Would love to go there again when possible. Cheers!
I don’t think there’s another venue in Adelaide whereby your food is being grilled on the sidewalk before you enter the venue. This restaurant is an eclectic gem serving up traditional Uyghur food. The dishes are for sharing which also means that they’re huge as well as delicious. Try the yogurt drink as well as the hand made dumplings- too good
Amazing food quality, good service. 10/10 Kind people, highly recommend. The best quality meat in adelaide. Honest and friendly people.
