I was here for my birthday. It was absolutely a top notch fine dining experience. Was really enjoyable. Food was amazing, delicate & a true art of display with flavour bursting in! Not mentioning the striking stunning sunset opposite to Sydney Opera House! A great 3 hour well spent here!

Flavour flavour flavour! Price: $$$$ Location: The Rocks, Sydney Atmosphere: Elegant Food: Exceptional Service: Excellent Food Flavours: Deep, layered and mastered. I took my sons for dinner here after the theatre and did not know what to expect. The menu is set and beautifully paced. All you need to do is select the 6 or 8 course experience, relax and enjoy being indulged. The food is magic in your mouth! Peter Gilmore and his team’s palette and penchant for only using the highest quality ingredients and packing flavour into every delicious mouthful is evident with each dish. Every dish was a joy to consume, wonderfully deeply layered in flavour and a work of art. Service was exceptionally good. Warm, welcoming, knowledgable and polished. The wine list is international and well stocked. I am currently enjoying New Zealand reds for their clean finish and the bottle of 2005 Craggy Range Syrah (re; Shiraz) was no exception. Paired perfectly with the every dish without overpowering the food flavours. Dessert of White Coral was a master piece and so beautiful it was a shame to eat it. There are surprise dishes that aren’t listed on the menu. Put simply each Is yum! Cost is not for the budget concise. Nor is this the type of establishment to take your little ones. Its elegant, refined and for grown ups. If you enjoy fine dinning and appreciate quality...do go. You will enjoy it! S

Food was fantastic, better than almost most fine dining I have been in Australia. Scenery facing the Sydney opera house. Well spaced out among the diners. Great atmosphere. Service was generally good for top restaurant except: Bill came, was curious why the price stated was different from the menu price (include Easter and credit card surcharge). No issue paying it but was wondering the difference and the waiter sarcastically mention if we want to dine at Quay during public holiday to expect all the surcharges thus the 4 stars.

One of my top 3 restaurants. Always a place for special occasions. Amazing views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Its a set menu Dégustation (see pictures) so it takes away from having to decide and allows more time to enjoy the view.

One of Sydney’s best for a very long time & it shows. Been 12 years between visits & both properly memorable. Check the pictures, words won’t the food justice. Really top location too.

Amazing dining experience, wonderful staff, very attentive. We had the early 6 course with cocktails. A couple of extra chefs gifts too. It was very filling. The combination of food and flavours was delicious. It was mostly seafood themed. It was so interesting each time they brought out a course. We comfortably completed the meal in the 2 hour window. They have good bathroom facilities and offer space for special private events as well. They accept card and cash. It is about 5 minutes walk to Circular Quay train station and ferries.

I’ve always wanted to try the Quay because of all the great things I’ve heard about it and it did not disappoint. It’s definitely worth trying at least once. The service is impeccable, efficient and welcoming. They very much leave you to enjoy your meal in peace and respect your space. They’re attentive, ensure your table is cleared after a meal and pace the next dish shortly after to fully savour the taste. The famous Snow Egg is even more delicious than it looks, it’s so creamy and the texture is unlike any dessert I’ve had before. The caramel and chocolate undertone in the Moo dessert was a pleasant surprise and just as great as the Snow Egg. The distinct flavour in the pig jowl and bone marrow noodles was simply a delight, the intense flavour, softness and delicacy was noticeable from the first bite. My only criticisms would be that the white coral dish was a little odd, I felt the flowers had a strange taste and did not compliment the seafood despite the lovely presentation. In terms of views, other harbour side restaurants do have better seating and the Quay feels a little tightly packed in terms of how close the tables are to one another. Very delicious, tasty and have very rich flavour.professional services. Luck me to set next the window. Great view, if you have a budget, come and try it. The mean was simple, but I had wonderful experience. Love this place will come second next times.I regret that I didn’t try 8 course meal. It is so tasty. Love it . ❤️❤️❤️

Had the pleasure of visiting this amazing restaurant as part of a business function. The food, service, and location were all top shelf. I hope to come back one day as it was a fantastic experience.
