Fantastic high quality bakery! Absolutely delicious sweets, sourdough is amazing. Highly recommend the custard tart. Customer service was great. Good location, however parking can be challenging depending on the time. Recommend a visit.

Not your average run of the mill options for pastries, both sweet and savoury options are unique and delicious. Get your bead here too, amazing. Coffee is perfect and the people are lovely. The little shop itself is so cute with the cloche in the window giving me nostalgic Beauty and the Beast fairy tale vibes. Such an asset to the area, yippee!

Was craving sourdough so we decided to give Sprout a visit. We had wanted to come here in a while and finally made it. On entry, I was instantly drawn to a fairly big diversity of the pastries on display. Everything looked great and appetizing. But we ended up getting an apple danish and a small multigrain sourdough. We only bought it yesterday and now it’s all gone. It is prob the best sourdough we have ever had. The crust was chewy and had this smoky taste to it, which I really dug; the inside was soft and tangy. We especially loved it toasted, which was much more flavorful and satisfying. We both had a thick cut slice for breakfast with scrambled eggs. As for the danish. My partner loved it but the apple slices on top were too sour for my liking. But the crust and filling were absolutely amazing. In general, it was a good experience and as pastry lovers, we will def go back again for more goodies. To answer your question, I honestly don’t know, because we finished it all before we could try it with anything else 😂. But it was already good on its own. I could have finished the whole loaf on its own, sliced and toasted.

Lovely coffee and bread/pastries as good as you’ll find anywhere in the world. Another reason Brisbane is increasingly on the map these days.
