Not as good as we expect

It’s truly a gem! One of the best Indian food we have ever tasted (and we have tasted a lot including Indian food in India 🙂). They cook everything from fresh and you can definitely taste it. Flavors are complex and authentic. It smells really good when you walk in which is always important. We are a vegan family, our is daughter is three years old and we had no problems finding dishes that would be good for us (they defiantly understand what vegan means and suggest themselves to replace dairy with coconut milk, plus they made a very mild and delicious dhaal for our daughter). We are coming back for sure! Thank you for taking us to India for the evening in Cairns 😉

This place is amazing! Was not expecting such delicious food but we were left mesmerised. The seekh kebab was light, well cook and nicely spiced. The prawns tandoori were slightly over but the taste was delicious. For the main course we had chicken Taka tak and I will have to say that I have not had a better chicken curry dish at an Indian restaurant in Australia till date. The roti and the garlic naan were soft and had a generous layer of butter on it. The mango lassi was okay. Not too much to complain but I’ve had better.

Amazing food, a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. Staff very friendly as well. Good job guys 😊

Best Indian Food in Cairns! Seriously don't try anywhere else until you try Spicy Bite! I am a huge fan of Indian food as is my partner and have tried them all over the country. Absolutely beautiful curries and very traditional style meals, friendly service and excellent value. 10/10 we will be back.

Yummy Indian food within easy stroll from esplanade pool area. It gets very busy during dinner time with long waiting time but considering tasty food we felt it was worth the wait. Excellent customer service was provided to us by staff Richa. Thank you.

We had a lovely meal here the other night. Despite road works and the public walking through the staff remained very friendly. It was frantically busy , but, we got our food in good time. Beautiful Lamb Korma and butter chicken. The food was so tasty and the meat so tender. Nan bread delicious
