It's pricey but tick all boxes! Highly recommended if you like to enjoy good food and relaxing place at the same time. Friendly staffs too especially Mariya, so helpful👍

Very fantastic restaurant! Excellent service , A young male staff ( forgot name ) and lady staff had very nice smile and tried to explained every single Sake from our meal set even we didn’t know ! Very professional. I would like come back next time when I visit Brisbane.

AWESOME food, awesome service!!! It's definitely a bit too pricey. But the food is great. Ambience is nice and the location is perfect, people are friendly. They helped us with the selection and guided us patiently with all our questions. We were looked after all the time. There was a small mistake in billing. However, they gracefully accepted it and apologized to us 10 times for the little mistake. I could see that they really care for their customers. Highly recommended!!!

Went there with a small group of people, we booked off one of the private rooms. Service was fantastic, food was delicious, though pricey. I had the Sono set, which was 6 courses, enjoyed it but wouldn't do it again at that price, if you're going to go here I'd say the zen set is probably more value, despite being another ~$40, based on what I saw, and if you are coming here for special occasions you might as well get the zen set. Food came out in a reasonable time, but can stretch out over 2-3 hours if some people at the table take a bit longer to eat it.

Nice foods, only need be more patiently for this meal. $99 for one person, take us one and half hour to have all. Almost sleep there, you call.

We went to Sono tonight to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food is amazing and the staff are very professional and friendly, especially the assistant floor manager Lawrence, he is very patient and nice. We both ordered the Zen Course, and the food taste and presentation are impressive. I mentioned it’s my husband’s birthday, the restaurant gave us a little surprise! They used chocolate to write happy birthday on the dessert plate. When Lawrence served the dessert with a sparkler on the side, my husband felt so happy and special. It’s not our first to be here, we will keep coming back to Sono. Thank you for the team to give us a beautiful evening!!!🥰🥰🥰

Fantastic! Great Japanese food, awesome service particularly from Lawrence the assistant floor supervisor. Beautiful atmosphere the private rooms look amazing if you have a group it's worth booking one. Large selection of food, wines, beers and cocktails
