Went here on a limb and not disappointed. Walk ins welcome and on a Thursday night they threw us next to the chef who didn’t mind a chat. The food was yum! Had 80% of the dishes there and still didn’t die at the credit card bill. Recommended if you like to enjoy your food, a bit of light funk and your good company. Well done team!

Greeted promptly by Al. Group of six easily accomodated on a Monday night. Service was so personal it made us all feel welcomed. Wine choices bountiful and accomodating. Food executed beautifully. Truly one of the best new places in Hobart.

I will start by saying this was the best hospitality experience we had in Hobart. Dinner and drinks for 2 on a Sunday night. They don’t take bookings so were required to line us as we arrived post 6:30pm and tables were full. Took about 1 hour to get inside, but it was well worth the wait. Small food menu, all very well executed so just order everything. We could not fault any of the meals. Records play all night, and the bar staff take requests. Kitchen is within the open bar space so you see how food is being prepared. Wine selection is vast and of high quality especially when considering how small the space is overall (<20 seats available). Staff were lovely, had great attention to detail and were clearly very good at their job. Prices were also reasonable and honestly we expected to pay more for the quality of service and food we received. Overall had a very nice evening. Would recommend, would return. Thank you

Great wine, atmosphere and most importantly great food. The food may be the best you’ll have in Hobart, but the wait is nonsensical for a place of such quality. Having a list to put your name down prior would be a fantastic and welcomed addition.

Best experience we had in Tassie. Impeccable food, incredible service and great wine. Couldn’t recommend it anymore and will be back when we are in Hobart next!

Great wine selection and cool concept. Staff are enthusiastic and seem to actually be having fun. Love the records and the atmosphere. Menu was limited to six dishes which is pretty responsible given the size of the place. Virtually no wait times for service or food. They had vegetarian options on request.
