Amazing food, very creative.

Great food and service...

My hubby and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last year. One of our celebrations included a delicious dinner for two at Social Eating House in the Gold Coast. We were seated at the kitchen bar which gave us a view of the kitchen. We were not sure what to expect as we had never been here before but sitting at the Kitchen bar was really the best choice. The chefs were not shy and spoke to us every now and then. They were really great fun to watch in the kitchen, whether it was watching them cook or engage in banter with each other or us they really kept us entertained and deliciously fed. It was also nice to be able to chat with them about the menu so we could make the right choices for our meals. They also went out of their way to make it special for us by giving us dessert on the house! Can I also say the customer service was just incredible. The wait staff so helpful, informative and kind. It really felt like they were celebrating with us! Before you ask, yes they cater to coeliacs so I really enjoyed the dishes there. They did have to make some adjustments but I didn't miss out on the flavours! I can definitely recommend a social eating house for your next special occasion or night out on the down. Their cocktails are also delicious and so fancy. The menu was really great and also have a specials list that they keep up on a blackboard in the restaurant for their extra special items. I cannot wait to go back here!

Shout out to Jodie for being a top waitress. Food was fantastic. The scallops, pork belly and tartare were absolutely fantastic and topped with that well balanced decadent hazelnut dessert. Absolutely ethereal.

Loved it! Relaxed and easy dining. Customer service was exceptional. Waitress was very attentive with great knowledge of the menu. Scallops were a great starter. Followed by the King Prawn Risotto and Lamb Shoulder which certainly did not disappoint! Highly recommended.

Breathtaking! Sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. The chef gave us a complimentary tasting serve of 3 dishes he made and all of them were delicious! Our food was outstanding and done service excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough. Must go!

This place was amazing! We had the king prawns for entree, recommended by the waiter-I don’t usually eat seafood however they were divine! For main we had the pork belly - cannot fault it! Eye fillet - cooked to perfection! The waiter was amazing very good at his job and very friendly. Overall this was more of a fine dining establishment and portion sizes are small however we left too full to have dessert. Will be back!

This trendy bar has Gold Coast vibes with just a hint of European beach vibes. The cocktails are delicious and there were also a great selection beers and wines. The menu is simple sharing plates which are well priced for the amount of food you receive. Service was a bit slow and towards the end it was hard to get the waitress’ attention but overall a nice place to enjoy a couple of sundowners.

I came here for my birthday and ordered everything by heart desired on the menu. The service was 5 star, watching the chefs prep the meal was 5 star, the food itself was 5 star, the drinks were 5 star. Everything was on par and at the highest level. If you have some money to spend, and want to experience beverage and food at a high level, I would highly recommend this place. Also the Amaretto Sour was amazing.

Absolutely beautiful food, really wonderful service. Was wonderful to be able to try a bit of everything and share it, and have room for dessert! We went on the Monday after Valentine's as our date, and so glad we choose this restaurant. Staff were amazing and lovely. We will be back here again, hopefully multiple times!
