Operator/management is wasting a really beautiful spot and opportunity. Nice views on a clear day. Good place to take kids for a wander. The staff are helpful, friendly, and professional. Food is pretty average (stay well away from the pizza). Staff and chefs are doing their absolute best with what they have and it counts toward a better experience. They're great. Picnics are allowed in some areas. Would be a lovely spot for picnic. The gardens are lovely.

We came with kids. Food generally is good and not expensive, food for two adults and two kids with drinks around 130$(pizza do not order-not good), staff nice and friendly! Really good atmosphere. We got a free entry card for the next visit. We will visit again for sure!

SkyHigh Mount Dandenong has been a core part of my childhood and adult life and I love the spot. I've been there as a child, and recently went back here with my children and loved it. Obviously you get a top view, and the food there is great. We had coffee, icecream, milkshakes (healthy stuff lol) and it was wonderful. Great spot and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great views of Melbourne’s Skyline from the top of Dandenong Ranges. Has a good garden , cafe and restaurant as well. Entry is $7 per car and couple of sculptures and the giant chair to look around. Definitely worth a visit if you are around the Dandenong Ranges.

Beautiful views, lovely staff, pretty average expensive food. It’s a pity really, given the views are so spectacular. Inside the restaurant, it’s quite run down too. No table service. Did I mention very expensive. Before going into the restaurant, I could see myself getting married there. Now, not sure I’ll go back. Could be improved quite easily.

*Came on the 6th of March* Firstly we drove 45 minutes to get here which would’ve been fine if it was worth it AT ALL. Had to pay $7 entry which I personally don’t think is fair if you’re going to the restaurant. Came for dinner around 7.15pm. Had looked online prior to coming at the menu, which had plenty of food and variety. This menu was also displayed on the outside of the restaurant. Once seated they gave us a menu (completely different to the one online and one displayed outside), which had like 5 main meals none appealing to me or my partner (all quite expensive too). I was confused about the menus thinking maybe this was just another one they had so i asked about the other menu no one seemed to have any answers just saying that’s the only menu we have? I said what about the one displayed outside and still said that’s the only one we have. Which was very annoying as i only came all the way there to 1 see the view and 2 get the food i saw on there online menu and displayed outside the restaurant. Ended up ordering 2 iced chocolates and a fries. Which were both fine so i can give them that. I was super excited to come here as i had planned it for my partners birthday and sky high is such a pretty area but got extremely disappointed. I just don’t get why they had a certain menu displayed outside but offered a completely different one and when i asked no one had any idea. Ended up getting other food on the way home.

Absolutely Amazing location. You have to book a table though to get the best view. Cafe is also very nice.

Bistro night time experience, was a once in a lifetime experience, as I will never go again for dinner. due to Ambience, lack of a nice view and unsatisfying food. Ambience, Is not at all romantic, wife and I did not enjoy the experience of a day to day restaurant turning into a "high class" experience. Like a Mitsubishi with a Porsche badge. Was not enjoyable or satisfying. I could've booked a McDonald's party room and walked away with a paper crown and still more money in my pocket The view from outside was disappointing as it was, with knowledge of a better but free viewing area, not worth the entry fee. from inside the Restaurant there was nothing nice to see but a "2018 Honorable mentions" award. My wife ordered the stuffed chicken, It tasted like a sweet dish dressed as a savory it did not taste nice. I myself ordered the Duck, I did not taste a thing, the fries were alright but regular. Small meals but big prices. Despite all that during the day I did order the Vanilla slice, best Ive ever had. Thank you
