30 Bank St 5000, Adelaide
Food always good.
One of mine and my partners new favourite places in Adelaide! The service to get a seat was timed perfectly and quick. The food came super quick but was very fresh and full of flavour. The Bao buns are the best we have had! Staff was all super friendly and attentive which just added to the experience. I would highly recommend!
Wow! This small cafe is amazing! The quality and the flavours of the food is brilliant! A very small and narrow cafe designed for a quick lunch. The prices are very reasonable and the service is amazingly fast! One long table with stools and some very small tables with very low seats. Takeaway meals are ordered and served from an open window at the front of the cafe. Their takeaways are there main form of meal service. A very, very popular cafe due to quality fresh food, amazing flavours and extremely fast service! We go there as often as we can!
SIT LO Review is on BANH MI - quick and friendly service - ordered a combo roll ( roast pork crackling & grilled chicken ) - was asked if I want chilli to which I said please - I asked for extra chilli to which I received - $11 - I asked for cut in half and individually wrapped - roll was ππ½ - on a side note. Everything I order from here is well executed
The pho taste pretty good - bao is not fresh enough , but still pretty good
Sit Lo is hard to beat. The service is always prompt, the food is cheap and yet is super tasty and fresh. Had the steamed Bao, the crab spring rolls, the roast pork rice bowl. All flavours were unique and delicious. Everything I've ever had here has made me want to go back again, and I intend to keep doing so. Highly recommend if you are after something quick, casual and/or hearty and delicious.
I had the rice noodle bowl with tofu and mushroom (vegetarian) and it was amazing. Itβs better than a lot of places I have been to and the price is ok too. Would be great if the serving size was a bit larger but it was good. Will be back again to try something else as well.
The small phΓ² is a lot smaller than other places, although it only costs $10, I didn't expect the size to be this small as other stores are usually $12 for a small, the $2 does make a huge difference in sizing so if you usually eat a lot just size up for $14. The food was mediocre at best, the broth was a little too sweet for liking. Another thing I was quite surprised about was that they don't serve the toppings(?) In a separate bowl, instead they put it on the top which was really weird to me as I don't eat coriander, which they put a lot in. It was ok overall, better places around Adelaide.
Great food but ownership has recently changed - meaning front of house staff are quite rude and demanding. Made to wait outside for take away order and not very welcoming at all. Disappointing as this place is usually my go to!
I rang in my usual english accent to ask for a booking. (sit) Low and behold, they refused to take bookings. Not only this, but when I asked about their prize winning honey chicken, they seemed confused and acted like it wasn't a thing! I swear they had it last time. The lady told me they were "not honki tonki" in a rude snarl and I was terrified :o I am not visiting for my school excursion :)
