An excellent tasting menu lunch at Shobosho, with a seat at the bar area so some added entertainment from both the bar staff and chef's. Each course was full of flavour, and not only was I impressed with the dishes but also the sheer quantity. If you are in Adelaide put this on your must visit list.

Highly recommended! Great vibe, delicious food, and attentive service. We had the tasting menu. The yuzu leek was the highlight – original and very tasty. The coconut sorbet was also excellent. Had a great night! Five stars.

We got lost trying to find the restaurant, as there was no visible signage. But when we eventually found it, the service was top notch and they were very attentive to our needs. We ordered the 4 course feed me menu and it was big portions and delicious! Be prepared on the chashu fried rice it can feed 4 people but it was only the 2 of us! The also have a good selection of Japanese whisky!

WOW!! amazing experience from the moment we entered. Fantastic tunes. Such a brilliant vibe. Heaps of extra love for our bday celebration and Nash was the best waitress we’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend this place. Where’s the 6 star button?!

Incredible atmosphere. The food - WOW!! The Staff…beyond amazing. We had the ‘4 Course Feed Me’ from the menu - loved every single course. Thank you guys.

Two very contrasting experiences. The Food was absolutely spectacular and tasty & I cannot fault any of it. However, the service was appalling. We had to re-order about three times because the staff either forget or missed things. A simple sparkling water took about 20 minutes to arrive.

At Shōbōsho we blend smoke, steam, and fire; ancient traditions of Japanese yakitori, with the finesse, skill & texture of all that is raw, cured, pickled and fermented. From a specially-commissioned cooking line consisting of a wood oven, hydraulic grill, rotisserie and customised yakitori pit, the element of fire will speak through simply seasoned, seared meats and vegetables. The menu takes a journey through raw to cooked, with yakitori, noodles, dumplings, bao, robata grilled and spit roasted meats. Our bar and kitchen operates all day. From lunch, to snacks with afternoon sakes, and right into the night. SHŌ Shō is an intimate 8-seater yakitori bar where charcoal-grilled sticks take centre stage in this casual spin-off of our main restaurant.
