Foods that we ordered was completely different than menu’s. Tastes were not too good. Honestly, bit dissatisfied
The vegetarian pan-fried dumplings are simply delicious! They seems more juicy compared to the boiled ones, although they are both very nice. 🥟🥟🥟 I felt that the dumplings are a bit salty after you finished the whole plate. Overall I’m very satisfied with the dumplings! The steamed okra is so fresh and delicious, and highly recommended you give this a try too!
When going to cities for first time, other than the celebrated fine-dining spots, I also like finding the amazing hidden local gems. It doesn’t get more hole-in-the-wall than this. Hidden inside a seedy shopping arcade in the heart of China Town, you would never even know it was there unless you Googled “Melbourne’s best dumplings”, or was let in on the secret by someone. The last time I had dumplings that amazing, was in Hong Kong. Flavor bombs!!!🥟🔥💣
Went for a late lunch with my partner and mother. Dumplings were ok. Not too sure where all the hype comes from though. Staff were very abrupt, but could be more of a cultural thing. Server did not tell us what dumplings she was placing on the table. She would drop the plate and walk away very quickly. They weren't busy at the time, there was only one other table. Menu isn't as big as other dumpling joints in the city. Not dissatisfied, but far from impressed.
Small Chinese cafe serving signature dumpling. Great taste , pastry perfect. Tried noodles as well, definitely coming back for more next time visit melbourne
Consistency ... A bit quirky, one of a kind with their mackerel dumpling, zucchini and the usual, but don't look for Xiao Long Bao okay ... light, thin skin. Enjoyable.
Enjoyed the dumplings and the salty chicken, super friendly staff, the both we had was pretty roomy for 4 people, though some of the tables were a bit close together, it's worth a visit.
The store has been open more than 9yrs in Chinatown. The most traditional and delicious Chinese dumplings I ever had in Melbourne. I strongly recommend all the sorts of dumplings and pot stickers (Pan-Fried) as their specialty. You can get friendly and warm vibe with their staffs there. Don't hesitate to have a try.
The sesame pork noodles were amazing!
Bustling with office workers during lunch time. Food makes me feels warm and homey. Price was decent. Beef brisket noodle tasted great. Prawn chive dumpling was quite tasty and sweet and sour pork was decent. Overall quite tasty.
