What a wonderful way to start our day. Julie guided us through a tasting and we couldn't of asked for a better experience. She was personable, warm and inviting and is very knowledgeable. The lady that looked after us afterwards was wonderful as well. The venue has an overall nice homely feeling and we look forward to returning for a third time.

Cellar door has beautiful grounds and the cellar hosts were very sweet. We enjoyed their winemakers range more than their Pepper Jack, but both were enjoyable.

Nice setting. Reasonable cellar door experience but some cost likely involved. Discounts if eating approx 15%. Restaurant is decent, however quite limited especially if not ordering pizza.

Stopped in here on a Trailhopper Barossa Valley tour and loved the setting. I enjoyed a delicious dessert and coffee while my partner enjoyed a wine tasting. He noted the Pepperjack was particularly enjoyable. Would definitely stop in here again.

Very nice, but limited menu. Service was good. Cakage cost of $5/person was a bit much when all they did was bring side plates to table. We had to cut and serve it ourselves.

We visited over the weekend as part of my girlfriends birthday celebrations and had the absolute pleasure of meeting both Judy and Rhiannon. 2 absolute gems of people who shared both their passion and experience with us. Judy’s warm and friendly nature and her incredible wealth of wine experience and knowledge was evident from the outset. Rhiannon took us through the winery Tour and also showed her love for both wines and the winery, it’s history and heritage. We both enjoyed and learned a great deal about the Saltram story. Lunch at Salters restaurant followed with what could only be described as an amazing experience. The Porterhouse and Scotch Fillets were incredible and matched with the very best of wines. A truly memorable experience for us both so thank you.

Such a stunning spot for a beautiful lunch and bottle of wine. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space, with a great atmosphere and service

We went to this winery this afternoon towards the end of a wine tour, the manager on duty treated us so incredibly rudely, she decided to the cut the entire group off with no reasoning, and she even refused to give anyone water. We were completely dumbfounded about the way she chose to handle things. The other staff we spoke to were so lovely (particularly Julie who hosted the start of our wine tasting), and unfortunately they seemed intimidated and scared by this arrogant disrespectful lady. It’s a shame people like this are in the hospitality industry- rude to customers, aggressive and disrespectful to their staff - she really ruined the whole experience for us and unfortunately she solely prompted this negative review. I truly hope the owners read this and review their management team because she is absolutely toxic to what would of otherwise of been an amazing business and experience. “Speak to others like you wish to be spoken to” could really be some advice she could take her attitude was deplorable.

No history of the Barossa Valley or Australian wine industry is complete without the mention of Saltram. Saltram has celebrated the tradition and heritage behind the Barossa Valley, making flagship red wines of great style and taste.
