Beautiful little town... very interesting sites loved all the history. Vanilla slice is to die for with A hot chocolate.. staff very friendly and polite.. lovely place to stop and enjoy. Came back few days later and had pasties and vanilla slice. Really nice and pasties was hot.yum...

They make a great Vanilla slice, all pies are kept in a fridge and heated up on purchase. The scallop pie was a bit of a let down today, not a lot of filling (sauce wise) and very dry pastry. Jalepeno sausage roll and Devils pie were great and the town itself is worth a drive through.

Ross Bakery is famous for the scallop pies baked there. And they are pretty good. Crisp pastry and filled with scallops and a laksa flavoured gravy. Surprisingly few veggies, so you get a very decent load of seafood. But the jewel in the bakeries crown is surely the Custard Slice. Light airy custard filling between crisp layers of pastry. Not too sweet, but as Goldilocks said, 'just right'. We hear they do pizza and sourdough bread too.

Cute country town bakery! Steak pie and vanilla slice were delicious- they claim to have the best vanilla slice! I would definitely agree.

The most delicious vanilla slice, really good lamb, mint and pea pie but the scallop pie let them down today. Over cooked and dry. Excellent coffee and great service. The pies and coffee piping hot and served in good time.

Not listening to the customer is a costly exercise. Requested extra hot coffee and received warm, weak milky coffee. Why is it too hard to make a hot coffee? If you cannot get the basics right heaven help with the rest of your products. A hot coffee - it's as simple as that.

Tried the famous vanilla slices, they are very crispy on top and bottom, but creamy inside. They are not overly sweet which is really nice for someone like myself who love deserts but doesn’t like too many sugars. Next time I wish to try some other things like pies breads.

An absolute must stop destination if you are traveling across the state! Such good food!!! We take the vanilla slices home for later aswel!! Wish I could give this place a higher rating!!
