Rodney’s Garden Café

They have carried out a refurbishment here since our last visit and have done a good job on it. There is good seating inside and a ton of outdoor seating . There is a good range on the menu and they had a good selection of cakes. The staff were very attentive and switched on in respect of Covid rules. We both enjoyed our meals, and drinks.

Best place for social distanced family event, playground is little but in a safe corner so you can enjoy your meal while your children are playing. quality of food is okay for its price, but hope they could've improve it a bit .. Lots of garden and family shopping options at the back. Also I found this place are pet friendly. Great weekend escape place with family within city ring.

Great tasting food and really fast service. There's a playground for the kids to play in and there was a local musician there playing music. It's a really relaxed atmosphere, with the sound of running water in the garden being a nice sound to eat to. Highly recommended, but book ahead as it can be busy.

Gorgeous setting, fun playground for the kids to enjoy while you can catch up with friends. Food was delicious as well. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Canberra.

How had I not come out here before!? Rodney's cafe is gorgeous. Sitting in the garden with amazing food, great way to spend the morning before doing your plant shopping. Granted we lucked out on what was apparently a quieter day, but even busy I'm sure it is well worth it. Will be bringing all my friends here for brunch.

Great atmosphere and plenty of seating in a lovely garden setting. Meals come out fast and the service is friendly. Reserve your table and if you are eating-in as a group you just line up and pay individually, placing orders on the same table number (much easier than trying to split bills).

Food items are a hit and miss. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Great customer service though and excellent atmosphere.
