Rochester Hotel

This pub is great, the service is welcoming, professional and the food amazing. I was in Rochester for a weekend of bowls, and didn't want to wait for 1hour for a meal at another pub. So walked around then I came across this friendly pub. The food was fantastic, full of flavour and so reasonably priced, you could taste the care given to each dish. Lyn

Was up for lunch this weekend. Staff were super helpful and food was lovely. Did not have to wait to long for the food and it was lovely and hot. Had a glass of Andrew peace sac Blanc which was lovely. Thanks ladies had a lovely lunch out. Will def be back. Cheers, Jo

One of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten. A steak knife was needed to cut the chicken. The white wine creamy sauce was runny, the salad had no dressing and it definitely wasn’t worth the money being asked for it. My cooking failures has been a lot nicer.

Simple meals at a great price. Support a great local pub with great locals running it.

Lovely pub. Staff were extremely friendly. Service was fantastic and quick. We had a steak sandwich and chicken schnitzel and salad and a few drinks from the bar. Food was delicious and prices were good. Definitely recommend this place to eat. We will be back 👍

Day trip to Rochester hopefully to put a small amount of cash into the place. Had lunch at the Rochester pub, service and meals were terrific.

My wife and I ate here on the Monday night of the long weekend. One of the few places in town that were open. The food was good with plenty of portion sizes to choose from. Limited wine choice but good brand and excellent value. Super friendly staff. We holiday nearby frequently and the Rochester Hotel is now our go to place for a feed out in Rochester.

Great pub meals staff very friendly and the locals too . Had lambs Fry, bacon and mash potato's and my partner ordered rissoles and mash potato's . Very reasonable prices for lunch and drink prices were very cheap too . Wonderful experience after seeing painted slios and painted murals.
