River Royal Inn

Loved the River Royal Inn food was Awesome sat in front of the fire

I always love coming here. I was a chef here years ago and still love the atmosphere!

Very nice place but not one non commercial beer on tap or in bottles unfortunately. Guy said it wasn't popular in Morpeth which is strange because the pub with its own brewery up the road was packed while the River Royal had one guy watching sport. Just one different one on tap (fat yak doesn't count nor does great northern) or, if that doesn't in fact sell, then just a few in bottles would be great.

Neat pub, open fire place. Shall try their food next time, even though they call it mad Asian? Who knows.

Best steak burger i have ever had. Mmmmmm it was that good i went back for dinner that night and had an other one.

nice views from top veranda , long wait for a meal with large group and other tables being served food while our table only received half the food. Would recommend to try it.
