Spectacular meal. The entrees were simple, mostly just charcuterie, cheese, olives, but the produce was high quality. The fried calamari was delicious, it had a very light batter and was very fresh. The mains were the star of the show, the lamb was perfectly cooked and expertly seasoned, and the gnocchi was light and fluffy with a beautiful sauce. The side dishes with the mains were pretty basic though, mostly steamed vegetables and roast potatoes. We were here as part of a function of around 50 and we had the whole place reserved, so of course the service is different to regular dining. The staff were very attentive and friendly, without hovering or being overbearing which is a tough balance to strike. Overall it was a bit pricy, but for the quality of the food I think it was well worth the money.

The waitress was really rude so we didn't end up ordering food after all. We had one drink. The music playing was pop and pub rock. Not a good restaurant if your looking for nice atmosphere. The lighting was good.

Well, after a 45 minute wait despite most of the restaurant empty, we finally got our order. (4 people in total). The Steak was over cooked , gravy was insipid and the potato mash smelled like it was left open in the refrigerator for too long. The Toscano should not be ordered - too little and flavourless. The quantity of the Spaghetti is also too little for the money. The Pesto Tortelini was a bit of a saving grace , but could have been served much warmer. The over all food price is not that great either, however one can pay $48 if the steak is really good. What's good? The harbour view is. Try at your own risk.

We walked in here because this restaurant was only restaurant- around there water front- had sittings available Friday night without reservation but we soon understood why... Poor quality food & service for premium dining price- approx $35 pasta dish. I gladly pay $45 for sandcrab lasagna at my local Italian restaurant and felt it was worth evert cent, but not the case here.. .Poor attendant by waitress who spend most time wondering around, say bluntly no when I asked for chilly flakes but expected tip at the end. we skipped another drinks and dessert then left, went to another venue for it. We ate most food on the plate and didn't complain because we were starving and tired from long trip. Overall felt very unpleasant despite the beautiful view & sitting.
