I really enjoyed my visit to Rising Sun Workshop. They have very cool interiors, with a car workshop on the ground floor and the main seating area upstairs. It has a chilled ambience and it wasn't crowded or noisy - perfect for catch ups. Service was good and the staff were attentive. I had the Dark Ramen which was delicious and the portion was just right. They also serve Mecca coffee and I was very happy with the batch brew I ordered.

Great service, vibe, ethos and wine list. Have only tried the light and the dark ramen and enjoyed them both, especially the light. My favourite bit being their eggs and their noodles which have some bite which I love. Wasn’t a fan of the too fatty pork in it which was more soft fat than meat so not edible to me. Otherwise a great dish.

What a fantastic find!! We were absolutely blown away with our experience at Rising Sun Workshop. Service was sensational - super friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Ambience was amazing - beautiful, simple and lovely vibe. Food - phenomenal!! The most divine dessert I’ve ever eaten; Summer Fruit Tingle!! I’d suggest the Chefs Menu, which we had and were so impressed we’ve already rebooked!

Had a lovely bowl of The Monk ramen for lunch at RSW. It wasn’t the best ramen I’ve had but it was still delicious and worth a visit on your ramen adventures across Sydney. I found the service a little cold. I wasn’t sure if it was because of the increasing covid restrictions or if it was me… I came past on a particularly busy work-day and picked up mum along the way. I had to take a fair few work calls and I definitely felt obnoxious afterwards. We weren’t approached to see if we needed anything during our sitting or how the meal was when we were leaving (standard practice). I just felt like the vibe wasn’t all that friendly or welcoming. Overall, I was underwhelmed with the experience. As a food enthusiast and owner of a custom Ducati Monster, I was so looking forward to checking out and eating at rising sun workshop. Maybe next time. I will be back soon for a re-review.

Amazing food experience here with a special mention to the presentation of the food, as I feel they present it much better than most other restaurants. Yours truly @fooderarri

Beautiful spot to sit < 33 I was not super into the ramen, and the chai was a little weak. The coffee was good, so would come back for a cruisey coffee with friends :))

The Hokkaido milk bun is so good. I like the soft パンstyle. Also love the ramen, the drink, the vibe…

Have been to Rising Sun Workshop for dinner on two occasions now and have really enjoyed it. The wine selection is very good and they are able to accommodate me easily (gluten free and dairy free). They also make great non-alcoholic drinks like home made lemonade and ginger beer. The food is always scrumptious and reasonably priced. We got the $60 set menu and were very full at the end of our meal. We really like Rising Sun for an upmarket but not too fancy meal.

The breakfast ramen is an inspired culinary masterpiece. The weekly guest beers are expertly curated. This is my favourite cafe in the whole world. Oh, and you can fix your bike here too.

Good service. Ramen is ok, definitely not Tokyo. Pretty good vibe.
