Ricardo's Trattoria

Absolutely delicious We were traveling for work and stopped here for lunch. This restaurant was packed, a real buzz. Our group went to the rear bar area till a table came up which was only about a 10 minute wait. The wait staff were very attentive, gave impressive run through of the specials of the day so much so, our group of 3 ordered these. Our mains were absolutely delicious, the most divine dishes. Credit to the chef. Great food, excellent service and priced well.

A very busy, obviously popular restaurant, Ricardo’s Trattoria in Albert Park has been around for 26 years! A smart, casual affair serving typical Italian fare. Thankfully, we were seated in the ‘backroom’ as it was much quieter than in the main area. The service was friendly however a bit rushed, given we kept saying we were not in a hurry and the food was … well … okay.

Cozy Italian joint in albert park perfect for special occasions and date night. Antipasto comes with couple of different cuts and prawn which we never see before but overall refreshing and great for starters. The risotto and penne was seasoned nicely and cooked to perfection. Food - 8 Service - 8 Vibe - 10 Price - $$$

My wife and I celebrated out 40 year anniversary here and it was pleasant. The food was superb, friendly staff and always one of our most favourite places to visit. I look forward to eating here often. I look forward to seeing my locals often.

Hmm, I think they were too busy. Almost 90 minutes from order to food-on-table. Some dishes in our group were tepid when they arrived. For $40+ per dish we expected better. But we wish them well, still recovering from a difficult time.

Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff, excellent service and reasonably priced. This place is busy so book ahead.

Great service but food way below expectation. Pasta sauce so salty, it was inedible. Green salad looked like it had been recycled, not a fresh leaf in sight

A restaurant in the true meaning of the word and far superior to others left trying. The menu, meals, wine and service are the best in Melbourne. Staff, particularly the maite'd' Nina are excellent

Excellent hosts at this restaurant. The food was exquisite and the very good Montepulciano bottles of wine we enjoyed were reasonably price.
