Restaurant Hubert

Heard lots of great reviews and Hubert has been recommended to me on numerous occasions as a must-try restaurant. The food was flavoursome, service was attentive and friendly. Highlight was the Escargot XO. Booking is essential and make sure it's you do so months in advance as it tends to get booked out. Recommended. Definitely would have given a five star rating for the establishment however I've taken one point off as there was some confusion over an incident raised subsequently and it could have been handled better by the restaurant manager.

Every dish was amazing and live music too! This is like a fine dining experience except with great vibes.

The band into food experience was absolutely class. Atmosphere was easy and fun. Went as a Group of 5. Do yourself the treat. You deserve it.

Charming cosy dining/bar experience. Perfect for any time or day for a luxe meal or drink and a burger. Absolutely amazing food and the Martinis are perfection. Unique and amazing spot.

Really good food and atmosphere. It is a little bit pricey. Ended up around $170 for two people. Creme caramel wasn't as good as the last time I was here, not as creamy as before so slightly overcooked for my preference.

Great night! Service was awesome, in particular the sommelier who recommended some amazing wines for our evening. We had the petit banquet which is a weird mix of foods to put together, especially if you’re trying to pair a wine to it. The duck parfait was the stand out. Delicious! The jazz band then made the night something really fun. Would definitely go back on a week night.

Second time visiting Hubert... the service is always exceptional as is the wine list and recommendations (especially the Burgundy if that is your thing). First time I visited the beef tartare blew my mind, this time it was the Gateau Chiffon dessert - please please please NEVER take that off the menu!

one of my favourite French restaurant, lovely service and the environment and atmosphere inside the restaurant was just fabulous. Must go on weekday nights to enjoy the live jazz. Very romantic restaurant will sure be a good place for a cute date or night out !

Feels like you’re back in the heart of Paris. Sitting at the bar means endless entertainment watching the talented bar staff create the beautiful cocktails. Everything on the menu is delightful and the wine list is great reading.

Absolutely a perfect French restaurant located in CBD of Sydney. When you push the wooden door from the crowde street and follow the stairs to the basement, it is like walking into the time tunnel, gradually moving away from modern times. Very enjoy my birthday dinner with my friends here. Love all of you!
