The food here is delicious, there is a relaxed atmosphere and you can bring your dog. Footy on the big screen but live music also. A great venue.

Love it. Good vibe. Cool seating. Great food and the Service from Lewis today was very helpful, prompt and Funny! I love to go there when its quiet but you never feel pushed to order ...... Love the couch/old mirrors/chandelier corner and the drinks are quite well priced. Happy customer.

Meals used to awesome, but unfortunately not anymore. Tiny overpriced meals, steak over cooked and tasted like it had dirt as seasoning. Also, adding anchovies to a ceaser salad without mention of it on the menu is criminal. Wont be eating there again.

Went for the Hobart Jazz festival. This was organised in a professional way. The venue was packed and there was a 50% deal for main meals. Staff are down to earth friendly and really helpful. I highly recommend going here during happy hour.

Always a good time. Thank goodness the Republic continues to support live music. Atmospheric and comfortable venue including 2 outdoor areas. Excellent food, great staff.

The food is terrible didn't like the photos that people post before. The porterhouse steak is cooked terribly and chips and pepper sauce tasty bad as well. The waiters are lock of customer service skill and experience. Bit rude. The music was too loud, difficult to have a conversation. It's way out of our expectations and people saying the quality and dinning experience is getting worst.

Friendly kitchen service, simple food and great weekly specials. Good selection of beers and ciders on tap.

Szechuan calamari was fantastic, highly recommended
