A great place for a sunday lunch with a good menu

Usually very happy with this cafe and their services, being close to my place of work it’s a lovely little spot to grab a coffee or something to eat on lunch. This was until one day I was met with an abundance of hairs in my egg and bacon roll. And by abundance, I mean, I could’ve replaced the own hairs on my head with the hair I found inside my roll. Exceptionally disappointed, and furthermore, lunchless. :( Photos attached of 3 of the hairs I discovered

Had a delicious lunch at Red Square cafe today. Got the halloumi & spinach fritters and also a coffee and a cookie for dessert. Food was fantastic and service fabulous. Highly recommend!

After checking out of our accommodation we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast & even though I’d read some low reviews about this place it certainly surpassed our expectations. Very busy cafe with efficient staff promptly serving everyone. We didn’t wait long for our food which was absolutely delicious! We both ordered smashed avo & coffees which were good too. Very spacious cafe with a cool vibe. We were also pleasantly surprised to get the $10.95 special for ordering before 11am which was an excellent deal. I liked that all the staff wore same colours. Highly recommend this place! In fact we will probably have breakfast there again before departing Hobart.

Great place to have breakfast or lunch for the whole family. Or hanging out with friends. Foods and coffee are fine, price is reasonable $$.

Great ambience, was very busy! Staff were nice. We ordered a toast, which came out so basic and was under expectations. Drinks were good. But very disappointed with the cleaniness of the toilet was not well maintained.

The food was lovely, Mum and I have been to the Glenorchy red square multiple times up until the last it has been great. Unfortunately we found a long strand of hair in our food as we shared a meal. It instantly turned us off the meal. The staff were nice about it and took our drinks off the order for what happened but perhaps the cooking staff need to be taught a bit of food safety when it comes to hair being tied back and or in a hair net ☺️
