Food is good except for the the dumplings. Dumplings were very sticky and difficult to eat without them falling apart.
The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come back again.
Vibes were immaculate. It gets pretty busy so if you want a spot, be early! The food was good. I had the pho and it was a little on the salty side for pho. Traditionally it's a little more mild but this ain't a complaint. I liked it! Delicious. The beef ball was really good. Spring Rolls were a hit on our table as well. But skip the prawn dumplings (har Gao) as they tasted store bought not sure if it was or not but the dough was thick and stodgy, and the prawn seemed bad quality or highly processed. Another one to skip is the salt and pepper squid. It was cooked well and had a good think batter, but there was just chilli and a bed of crunchy noodles. Couldn't taste salt or pepper. I think generally speaking, the fusion and westernised menu items were the lower quality ones. Stick to the actually Viet food and you can't go wrong. Seating was nice and it felt warm and welcoming. Each table comes with card games which is a great way to kill the wait time for the food. (Which wasn't long anyway). Also appreciate the free candy and some flavoured drinks. Also had a nice outdoor dining area with blankets. Felt homey, yet professional. Will definitely come back for the Viet food and friendly staff.
Fantastic food and service. Well done.👍
Great Pho, friendly service, cosy place, long waiting times and I love their tea :)
Very nice food, generous portions, and the service was fast. The only thing is no booking, therefore if you don't want to wait for a table, you should go there early.
Generous portion sizes, but most importantly, very tasty. We always order the broken rice; the pork chops are a MUST, grilled to perfection (no burnt bits!) and fragrant. The beef pho is also great (flavourful but clean & light broth), and don’t forget to add spring rolls if you order the bun (rice vermicelli salad bowl)! Ever since discovering this gem two years ago, my family have been semi-regular customers, despite not living close. If we’re in the area, we always make sure to pop by for some of June’s trademark hospitality.
Great restaurant for Vietnamese fusion. The size of dishes was extra large. Always a long queue outside of the place. Brilliant!
Great food, very busy, beautiful family restaurant. Highly recommended. Very well priced. 10/10.
We had a great meal at Proud Peacock. The service was excellent (despite being very busy they were super friendly). We loved the food. It was fresh and hot. It was served with low to low middling spice, but there was lots you could add if you wanted. We got there early so we got a table straight away, but, when we left, there was a queue of about 30 people waiting for tables. So either go early or be prepared to wait because they are strictly first in, best dressed. For five people, more food than we could eat (3 adults and two tweens), cost a hair over $100. Really good value.
