Food and staff sensational... so good

Went here with a large group to celebrate a birthday. Service was flawless for a table if 9 with a few dietary requirements. Good wine list which was a nice surprise. Most dishes were very good with a few nice tweaks to some classics. Lost 1 star for the hot English mustard prawns. Very odd dish and made my mouth taste of mustard for the rest of the meal. All in all, we had a great time.

We went here to get some takeaway for dinner after work. We live in the Hills district and there isn't many good Chinese options out that area, but I heard the positive reviews about Peacock Gardens and just had to try it. I wasn't disappointed at all, you could tell the food was made with the best and fresh ingredients and servings were very generous. When you walk into the restaurant you instantly feel welcomed as it's a family run business. Please go out of your way to try the food at Peacock Gardens as it won't disappointment you. Thank you to owner Evelyn Lee who was so welcoming on arrival!

Really high quality Chinese food. Great wine list! The fried rice is the best we have ever had! Fantastic food.

Good vibes, impeccable service and friendly staff. Definitely my most favourite Chinese restaurant in Sydney and always impressed by the exquisite collection of wines on their list. Sang Chow Bow, Peking Duck, Chow Sam See and Salt and Pepper Lobsters are the must-try and I order them every single time!!

Very nice atmosphere, great food and awesome service! We had fried rice and a Mongolian lamb and both were delicious! Really recommend!

I have been going to this restaurant for 40 years and always loved it.But we went last night after a gap of a few years and boy has it slipped .Non of the meals were memorable...the food was not put on the table in a shared plate style but served on small plates with a small bowl of rice...not the way Chinese food is eaten...particularly when using chopsticks. I am so disappointed on many levels including the less than warm welcome we received because they had spelt the booking incorrectly yet treated us like we were gate crashers. And we did spend $500 for 4 peeps so we played our part. This never happened on Mathew's watch and like the great man himself I have also left the building never to return.The experience up the road at Lees Fortuna is for me.Sorry guys

Food was good, though a bit pricey. Very good table service. Ample-ish on-road parking.
