Patee Thai - Prahran

So glad I discovered this place. They have an upstairs section with cushions, dim lighting and decor that provides comfort and relaxation whilst you dig into exceptionally delicious Thai cuisine. We ordered the roti, chicken satay skewers, rice, prawn spring rolls, red curry seafood, pad prik khing pla and chicken pad Thai. The roti and pad prik khing pla was the highlight. The broth of the curry was also very tasty! Highly recommend getting a few plates to share. The service was also exceptional. The gentleman serving our table was very attentive and did some great upselling. Perfect place for a chill date on the upstairs cushions or a dinner party with a few friends. They also have tables if you prefer.

The Ambiance adds a lot to the experience. We sat upstairs on the cushions. The food was great and super quick as well.

This small intimate restaurant have a cozy romantic vibe. The food is very average, especially the chicken dish that we ordered which tasted like a lemon chicken. Perfect for a date if you not specifically looking for authentic Thai. Food - 5 Service - 7 Vibe - 8 Price - $$$

The Thai here is fantastic. Been going for many years and I think it has possibly become better in in the past 18 months with a few great tweaks to the menu. Chive dumplings and Bassa dishes are spectacular. But no matter what, ensure you get their prawn crackers. More home made style, delish satay sauce and moorish beyond belief. Take away fast and efficient and looking forward to eating in once lockdown is over

LOVE LOVE LOVE Prahran Patee Thai. Been going here for close to 15 years now and its always awesome! Now I've only ever ordered the Grilled Marinated Chicken (because I can get Thai anywhere but you can't get their GMC anywhere else) and if I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life, GMC would be on the finals list, but have tried from others plates and everything always tastes great. Service is always good too. Cant recommend enough!

Ordered takeout, Starter Tom Yum Chicken Soup, Main Garlic, Beef with Jasmine rice. Delicious will order again 😁

The food was yum, the dessert was amazing too. Go for the banana fritters. Do not forget to order the seafood on chilli paste.
