Was Orange Spot bakery ever situated in Jetty road Glenelg

Are you open for breakfast on Friday 26th January 2018 ( Australia day), and do you make up salad rolls or make sandwiches on this day. Thinking of having breakfast with you and taking lunch with us as we head to the one day cricket at Adelaide Oval

When did the orange spot bakery first open ( I remember it from a distant childhood)

One of those few bakeries that actually lives up to its claims! Won best pastie 10 times and once you taste one it's easy to see why. Their cakes and other products are also delicious and among the best I've ever had. Also excellent value - highly recommended

Always stop in here when visiting Adelaide to get pasties to bring home to my wife (ex Adelaide), as the pasties from SA are just so much better than anywhere else in Australia. And Orange Spot always has a huge selection of pastries, etc. as well. Friendly service & good quality

Well organised and friendly service. I had the beef and Shiraz pie which was better than the pastie I thought

Perhaps don't bother here... A few things... went there as the ratings were good, but very disappointed. 1.excluding one cabinet by the door, there were not prices or labels on ANYTHING in the cabinets or up on the board, so we had no idea of costing on anything or what the hell anything was 2. I wanted to order a coffee as well but we were pushed through so quick that I didn't bother... 3. Vibe was so awful!! We've been to busy places before that still have a great vibe, but this was just like you're an annoyance. The team weren't warm & inviting at all. The place has a dingy feel that was not inviting. 4. I had the veg pasty... Have to say i enjoy 7 11 pasty more. My partner said the same for the pie. 5. Not covid conscious. I didn't see many gloves & they had a sheet of paper on the few tables they had there which they just replaced the paper but didn't wipe down tables... Waste of paper & a spray bottle would have been more effective. Definitely more a get your pie & get out kinda place. We won't be going back

These guys have the most amazing pies. The beef and Shiraz pie is to die for. We are from Syd and they helped us out with a last min celebrity cake for our baseball team, who are now National Champions. You guys rock. Thank you

This place is amazing. If you're in Glenelg & hungry you need to pay this place a visit. Everything is good, but the pasties are a life changing experience. I usually drop in on one of my bike rides, but would happily crawl the 37kms from home just for something to eat from the Orange Spot Bakery.

We came here because of the good reviews. We arrived and were greeted by the 'most awarded pies' advertisements, everywhere. We ordered a few pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and their so called '2020 best hot cross bun'. Oh, and their coffee. The pies and pasties were good, but be careful when you asked for sauce as they, quite literally, would injected tons of sauce into your meal! My daughter can't even taste the meat in her pie as it was overloaded with sauce! The sausage rolls - it was so salty that we cannot even finish eating them. I hope it was just a one off, as otherwise with that much sodium, I don't even know how people can stand their sausage rolls!!! The hot cross bun was okay, but not extremely different with those from Coles. Sorry. The coffee, well, I don't know what those people rave about on their Zomato reviews. There is nothing special with theirs, but maybe because we are from Melbourne πŸ˜€ Finally, one small suggestion to the tall gentleman behind the counter: a smile goes a long way and won't hurt anyone!
