Excellent place for breakfast! Great coffee (with oat milk) and food. We had the Smoked Salmon Poke Bowl and Omelette with Mushroom, Spinach and Feta - scrumptious😋!
I have reviewed Old John in the past and thought I'd take another look. The cafe has a new look and is very smart, still has the nice open kitchen and pleasant staff. I had a coffee today and it was good. The service was relaxed however it was quick and a nice experience. Old Johns is excellent and worth checking it out. Nice simple well executed cafe menu with a little chef finesse.
Firstly, great coffee. Exactly what you want from a cafe. But then you've got a packed bacon and egg roll on a lovely milk brioche(?) bun, delicious fruit and ice-cream topped pancakes. Fantastic.
Wow!! Just tasted the best food I have ever tasted in Coffs Harbour...yes, that is a big call...but honestly it was all so delicious. We ate from the breakfast menu...first class all the way...awesome service too.
