Okami (Wantirna) - Japanese All You Can Eat

All you can eat for $35 is a pretty great deal

Thought it’s a popular restaurant and yes for sure! There were few dishes we ordered didn’t come to us. Too busy and lack staff. I wouldn’t be happy if working there. Sashimi was a surprising as you can see from the picture, a few pieces of raw fish on the side called sashimi and sushi dishes. I guess it required you to eat more rice to get full quickly!! In general, it wasn’t that good as I thought !!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was brought out quickly and meals were served fresh and hot! We enjoyed all of the menu items we ordered as part of the all you can eat banquet, and left very satisfied and full! Very reasonable price for a banquet too.

Okami Wantirna is a great little restaurant that obviously serves all you can eat Japanese food. Its a great way to try different Japanese dishes that you may not otherwise try. Personally, I love Japanese cuisine so I find Okami really good value and a great way to introduce my family and friends to Japanese food because I know they'll be able to find a dish they like. If you've never tried Japanese food then Okami is probably the best way to start. I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Went for dinner to Okami. Was at the 7:45pm scheduled time. There was a good variety of food. A few issues with the food. ALL the food came out just barely warm. We did ask several times if we could have HOT food. Do not like eating warm meat. The only nice thing on the menu were cooked prawns. Do not mind then cold. Also this is not a true ALL YOU CAN EAT menu. They place limits on how much you can have. Examples is the ice-cream. It is limited to one scoop per person. How ridiculous. I definitely will not be returning, at $34.80 per head, I would be better served elsewhere. The cold food is a salmonella poisoning waiting to happen.
