Good service and great food

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was brought out quickly and meals were served fresh and hot! We enjoyed all of the menu items we ordered as part of the all you can eat banquet, and left very satisfied and full! Very reasonable price for a banquet too.

Amazing food

Thought it’s a popular restaurant and yes for sure! There were few dishes we ordered didn’t come to us. Too busy and lack staff. I wouldn’t be happy if working there. Sashimi was a surprising as you can see from the picture, a few pieces of raw fish on the side called sashimi and sushi dishes. I guess it required you to eat more rice to get full quickly!! In general, it wasn’t that good as I thought !!

Okami Wantirna is a great little restaurant that obviously serves all you can eat Japanese food. Its a great way to try different Japanese dishes that you may not otherwise try. Personally, I love Japanese cuisine so I find Okami really good value and a great way to introduce my family and friends to Japanese food because I know they'll be able to find a dish they like. If you've never tried Japanese food then Okami is probably the best way to start. I highly recommend you try it for yourself.

The restaurant was so busy but the staff kept smiling. My family enjoyed last night.

Very disappointed with my experience with Okami in Wantirna last night. The service was slow and some staff members were not welcoming at all and just blatantly rude. I found a staple pin in one of the chicken skewers and the staff did not care one bit. We asked for compensation and they just gave us a free drink which we didn't want in the first place. Then asked to talk to the mangers and the servers were lying about that as well. One girl was saying a different name and the other was saying something else. One of my favourite restaurants not so favourite anymore.
