O Bar and Dining

I like this place which offers a magnificent view of Sydney from different angles as the restaurant slowly rotates. The food is delicious. However, I could not order a single piece of cake for my coffee, instead I was offered an enormous dessert plate for 65$. Also, it takes some time to receive a bill.

My friends and I were enjoyed the five course meal and wine matching. Yes, it is expensive but it was worth with night view and good food & service. But, the view is not good as few years ago - I can see there are now more high building around in Sydney. I was limited view of Harbour Bridge, circular quay and Harbour Bridge. However, I dislike that they did not have clockrooms. I noticed that My coat was stepped by me or others (can be serving person or next table).(winter time) Also, optional gratuity shows in the bills. They mentioned this shows in the menu with tiny words - I hope they mentioned when we order or when they bring the bill. We almost pay extra tips on the total if we did not check it. Further, this make me to bit upset and I actually asked them to remove it and decide to pay less tip. I am not used to with optional gratuity in Australia. This makes me uncomfortable and I feel that's quite rude.

Sorry but we still cannot appreciate the food quality compared to the amount of money that we spent Don’t get me wrong, the view was marvellous. Food is not bad.. not that good either.. Maybe going back from some drinks next time 😁

The venue is remarkably nice for the views of Sydney alone! Coupled with it is the fantastic service and delectable dishes served at reasonable prices specially from fine dining perspective. All in all, its a value for money proposition.

Great view, great vibe - only 1 downside was there was no one to wave down to get the bill at the end of the evening - all the waiters just walk past like your not even there. However they are so attentive to give you your food! Very strange. So we had to go pay the bill at the entry. Other then that very good!

Have to say, the experience was quite pleasant. The location and view are great. The service was very good and attentive. Food was really good, however found the main meal (flash grilled wagu beef) quite a bit salty, so much that it overpowered the taste. Otherwise, entrees and deserts were great.

O bar and dining would have to be one of the best restaurants I've been to in Sydney and i highly recommend you try this establishment when you visit Sydney. The food was Devine, I started with the hand cut beef tartar which was melt if your mouth sensational and my partner started with the caviar, corn and crispy chicken which was also so smooth on the palate, with the mains I chose the flash grilled wagyu beef ms6+ which was cooked absolutely perfect with a side of special mushrooms and my partner had the slow roasted lamb rump with a side of shoestring fries, between the 2 it would be hard to choose a winner as they were both spot on in flavor and presentation. For dessert I had the cheese board and my partner had the hot raspberry souffle which was to die for, the flavor that little dish packed was out of the park, I could of had my 3 courses as the souffle ha! All in all it was a great night and we will be back in the near future.

The 3 stars is for the views and the styling of the place, absolutely stunning. The food was just ok, I was expecting amazing food for the price. And the optional tipping was not mentioned by the waiter, just put on the bill and the pay wave machine ready for payment. It’s not really optional if you don’t get asked the option. Lucky my wife noticed it and we had it taken off. Not a good look at all o bar, seems very deceitful.

Absolutely amazing views and setting. Restaurant Manager Mark and all the staff looked after us exceptionally well. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful night with my husband. Service was excellent, our waiter from Estonia was very friendly and since I was at the restaurant 2 weeks ago with my children, she remembered me and were talking about our previous dinner! Food was extremely delicious and at the end, my husband got a little piece of chocolate mousse as a birthday present! The rotating views from Sydney were espectacular ! Highly recommend this high standard restaurant ! 5 stars!! Thank you!! See you again in the near future!
