Very grateful to the Nick’s team for adapting the menu to accommodate my allergies, allowing my husband and I to have a lovely meal for our anniversary.
The fisherman’s platter is delicious, the tempura is light and crisp, and the seafood is clearly high quality as it’s so delicate and tasty.
The Covid restrictions were changed on the day we visited so the restaurant was pretty empty, so I think we were lucky to have a quiet, calming evening overlooking the water with a super attentive team looking after us!
The only thing I’d probably change is my dessert - I ordered the heavenly crunch tiramisu, and while it was delicious and chocolatey, I didn’t really get much of a tiramisu flavour, and there was a lot going on on the plate - fruity coulis, raspberry macaroon, strawberries, edible flowers, and more - I enjoyed it but I will probably choose something else on my next visit. And this is just constructive critique - I will 100% be going back again!
