140 George St, The Rocks
More political statements rather than art
A good place to spend time
Great guides and interesting art. View is pretty cool also!
Enjoyable museum with interesting exhibits and in an awesome location on the harbour. Really enjoyed the Lindy Lee exhibit recently. Step free access via George St entrance (main entrance during Covid); only exit is harbour side. Lifts available between floors. Cafe/bar upstairs with lovely harbour/opera house views. Open till sunset Fri evenings with some special events periodically (used to have.Artbar monthly for 18+. Hopefully resumes soon).
I love the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and it's a place I visit all the time. I meet lots of clients there, love the cafe and even today have become a paid member of theirs. I love the art they have on display and the staff there are really nice. They are very good with me and go the extra mile. LOVE IT and highly recommended!
Great museum filled with brilliant art from Australian artists.
Great event on terrace
Entry to the MCA is free. There is a great cafe on the top floor however it gets really sunny and hot so be prepared for that. We came to the MCA to see Richard Bell's "You Can Go Now" exhibition. Really impressed. Also thank you MCA for your All Gendered toilets hopefully this can be the norm in other public buildings moving forward!
An amazing diamond in the centre of the Rocks, Sydney , Australia. An art space as unique as the outback itself. World class art on display accessible to everyone for the cost of some curiosity. Staff ready to answer any question regarding the works on display. A must visit venue for anyone visiting Sydney .
A must do while in Sydney
Good selection of art pieces. You could go around the museum within 2 hours so it could be a great activity for couples and families.
I come to MCA regularly and enjoy those masterpieces 🥰. This place is my ‘secret’ art paradise ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Simply supurb love it!
Great experience
A fantastic number of local and aboriginal arts on display.
Quiet, yet humming. Nice way to end the evening with a visit to the MCA & an introspective sit overlooking the harbour
Fantastic!
Lovely staff and cool exhibits. Toilets we're a bit messy, but not terrible.
A sydney gem. Great art, even better than the Galeria of NSW
We left a little disappointed, not sure why but maybe the artworks are the time were just not us.
