189 Katoomba St, Katoomba
A nice little cafe run by a Tibetan family. Very friendly and the hand made momos to die for. They do their mountain dishes as well as a range of pancakes. They do takeaway and coffee to. Reasonableness priced. Also has wine and beer for dine in.
Cosy and nice Tibet cafe shop, we really enjoy their momo and fried rice, my little one also love them.
Such a soul refreshing experience. This food is like the life force the body needs. All the different options in Katoomba i found myself back here everyday, my body just wanted to dive in and swim in the momo soup. Thank you!!
Momos
Amazing food. The crepes and dumplings are some of the nicest I have had anywhere. Very friendly staff and quick service. Highly recommend the dumplings with Himalayan sauce.
The staff brought out the wrong food, took the meal back and then forgot to bring out what I had actually ordered. I waited for almost half an hour. This is a shame because the food was good. Can't fault the food. The coffee was good as well. Just really poor service. Don't bother going if they're busy, because that seems to have been the issue.
Went in today for lunch and everything was delightful. Excellent beef Momo's with a Himalayan sauce, a traditional Russian tea which smelt like Yakinori (yum), super tasty Caramelised Apple crepe, and a creamy chai latte. 10 outta 10 worth going for lunch !
Walked in during a storm and was pleasantly surprised by the warm and cosy environment. Food is very comforting, and really delicious! They have a large crepe selection, but I ordered the momo with the spicy sauce and was blown away by the REAL spiciness of the sauce (not the weak and phony sort, you've been warned) Came back on a different day and got the tibetan momo soup which was hearty, delicious, and very warming on a cold day. Will definitely come again (and again!) when I visit the Blue Mountains.
Inviting cafe with lovely service from the young wait staff. A calm and relaxing place with heartwarming food and great coffee.
We had the most delicious momo (Tibetan dumplings) at the Ama cafe along with delicious pancakes and soups. The Punjabi tea is a must try! The staffs were wonderful and the ambiance so warm. Will definitely come back.
