Moku Bar + Grill

Enjoyable and greatly environment with delicious food and cocktails as well. The Moku Bar is a part of Novotel Oasis Hotel, but it opens for public as well. My friends and I have been enjoying this place since we arrived in gorgeous Cairns and we still going on. Deeply thanks to all bartenders, waiters, chefs and the rest of the staff for the good looking after all guests and customers. Everyone have to give a try and enjoy the tropical vibe. BULA!!!

Can only rate them for what I ate and from this can conclude that it's better to avoid the steak. Very tough even though medium-rare. Was a workout for the arm to cut and the jaw to chew. Nice venue though.

Best cocktails in Cairns (that we had). Food was pretty decent too, fresh and fairly quick service.

Amazing food, we had the duck curry, Lamb and steak - all really good. Have to call out the wonderful service. Lauren was a star!

I have already provided a review of this great holiday resort, but now want to come back and provide comments on the Moku Bar + Grill. Like all Covid socially distanced places of eating it was a little different. But once you've tasted the food you want to keep coming back. The photos attached shows a meal that looks simple but has the most complex tastes. Mine was the Brisket, which I've usually avoided in favour of Ribs, but oh, this just melted in my mouth. Well done Chef.

Had the Thursday 300g steak special and salmon poke bowl. The steak was tasty flavour wise but was so tough my husband's jaw ached from eating it, it was like the entire steak was gristle. He mentioned this to our waiter who laughed about it and he said he would let the chef know. The poke bowl was alright but would have expected a bit better quality for the price point, have had much cheaper, better tasting poke bowls elsewhere.

We ve been having brekkie 4 times during our stay at the otel, sorry to say but food definitely have no taste unfortunately, kitchen never listen your instructions food always come the way as you didn’t order! We tried pretty much everything on the brekki menu but none of them is recommended definitely. They have to chance recipe to of each item! Such as mushroom: too dry and tasteless Toast: they were not fresh at all We definitely didn’t enjoy,

We discovered the place while searching for places to have Lunch while in Cairns. A hidden gem inside Novotel Oasis Resort, this restaurant have the best food options with a great taste and an exquisite presentation. Although the place was not very busy on a Monday noon, the fresh design makes every corner within the lobby a great space to feel welcome with a private touch. The service is simply great with employees of the hotel always smiling. The lady who served the food was very friendly and hospitable. It is definitely the place to go to when in Cairns.
