14 Ebsworth St, Zetland
Check out Miso Japanese second branch convenient location in Green Square. They have a great variety of Teishoku and Bento set meal here a little similar to the World Square branch but they have some different combination of Teishoku. The space is very bright and spacious and they get very busy during dinner time. Tried their daily Special Set that is only available in 20 portions. The food here is fresh, tasty and well presented and good variety.
Accidentally passed by, and gave it a go. The menu looks pretty standard, but what came out exceeded expectation. The deco and feel makes it seem like you're in Japan, and the food finished it off. Service may need a bit of a polish for the corner tables which seems to get neglected, but otherwise Japanese food served and managed by Japanese. Can probably say better than Yayoi both in taste and price.
So happy to have a Miso branch closer to home! Same yummy tonkatsu set meals with a few extra unique dishes. Convenient location near the Zetland library too.
Love this restaurant. Meals are large, fresh and so tasty. Spacious, clean and handy location in Green Square. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Can't decide whether Miso or YAYOI Both really good! Not sure whether it is worth to pay extra 50 cents for the Miso Tonkatsu, just the same as the normal Tonkatsu.
Much better than expected. Great portion sizes. Quite quick service.
Great food and service which I under-expected! However I was there to get some lunch and surprised the daily special has increased $4 but with lowered quality. Straight up disappointing! Terrible chicken katsu was not even cooked and they put so much fat and skins in the patty which was very disappointing. No one works in the kitchen look like Japanese which could be the reason!
One of the few places that actually feels like you're in Japan. That includes the furnishings, music, staff uniforms and of course the food itself. Not necessarily "the best" Japanese restaurant but certainly one of the most authentic. I'm glad to have this close by.
Their katsu chicken bowl was the super flavorful and juicy with sweet onions and a amazing tsuyu sauce. The chicken goes so well with the rice which absorbs all the sauce, and is super satisfying to eat. Really fair priced Japanese restaurant with a great selection of Japanese teishoku dishes. Restaurant is very comfortable to dine in as well. This will be a place I will come back to regularly.
May 21: The service and food were still great. The portions appeared to have changed. The tonkatsu pork shrunk a bit. Mar 21:Nice friendly service. Good food. Had always loved Miso at World Square so was delighted to know about this one locally. Would be five stars of they have have the Chirashi and sashimi set like their world square branch.
