Mejico

Another poor Australian take on Mexican food attempt but this time with the inflated pricing. I don’t know what it is with keeping with western tastes but for once I’d like to see someone take the plunge into traditional and authentic dishes. We tried a variety of tacos, the corn ribs and the cheese jalapenos. The outstanding dish was the churros for me.

We had such a great lunch at Mejico last week! Every dish was delicious, it’s the perfect sort of food to share so you can try lots of different flavors. Both cocktails we had were fab too. Service was super friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Tasty menu, lovely staff and very quick service. We came for the Valentine's Day special and it was great! We would definitely come back again to try their ala carte menu.

Mejico is always a favourite where the food is tasty and the drinks are addictive. Our waiter today was Chris who definitely made our dining experience more fun and wanting to just stay and drink more 👌🏼 Will definitely be back!

Great food and ambience! We only took some small dishes and tacos, but will definitely come back to try some of their other dishes. My favourite was the salmon tacos, closely followed by the Jalapeño poppers. The former was juicy and very tasty, and the latter tasted amazing with a nice crunch on the outside!

Delicious food and awesome drinks. Their margaritas are great but their signature cocktails are absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend the ones we tried (the tonic, the elderflower, and the Blue Weber(?)).

Fantastic flavours, service and delicious cocktails! My friend and I met up for a birthday lunch and we couldn't fault it. We would definitely go back.

A fun and unique experience at Mejico! The guacamole smashed table-side is fun to watch and there is a little wooden device on your table that allows you to choose 3 different parameters, the waiter will then take it to the bar and they will give you a tequila that suits what you have chosen…a fun way to explore different tequilas! The food was all exciting and tasted great!

The prawn tacos and King Fish ceviche were great, but the fried chicken was a bit burnt and the wagyu was a bit under. Service was a bit lacking as there was confusion as to what had already/not already been served to us.

Fantastic food, great service.

Some of the food is very tasty the rest are good but not great. Warning: portion sizes are small and prices are comparitively high. The tacos are soft tacos about the size of the palm of your hand you get 2 for $16. A table of six can easily devour $300 worth of food. Big footballers would be looking at a bill of $120 each. Do not take your teenage son here. But despite this the place is almost always chocas with people and it is a lovely atmosphere. Extra star because the service is pretty good if you have the mains come at the same time as the entrees.

The food was soo tasty. I will be coming back.
