Cocktails great. Food not so great. The pizzas were very watery and difficult to eat.

Chicken tajine was more of a curry than that magherebian sweet and sour fusion. Couldn’t taste the honey or cinnamon. Must’ve just been rushed. The baked halloumi was done better, but came out later than the main. Great choice of mocktails and cocktails.portions were great for the price and staff are very friendly and attentive. Would try it again as the menu does have variety.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. We seated a table of 6 for lunch and the food came out in a reasonable time frame. The food was delicious with great portion sizes and very flavourful!

Mecca Bah is a staple of our dining experience since 2004. Though the interior & location’s upgraded thru the years, the service, imaginative decor, comfy seating, the music & menu have always been brilliant. The Persian inspired pizzas, lamb dishes & tagines are delicious but if you’re visiting on a budget or with limited time, the trios of dips & Turkish breads are fabulous & stretch to serving 2 people & 2 young ones with extra room for dessert & coffee. We’ve taken guests & spent many happy hours sitting comfortably enjoying a languid afternoon & evening. I’ll be taking my brother next Monday. Can’t wait!

Mecca Bah Brisbane is a fantastic restaurant to go to! I would highly recommend it. We had amazing food and the service was top self...very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Well done!

The staff were really nice when we popped in after the markets for a quick bite. However, the food wasn't amazing compared to other Turkish options around Brisbane. The platter wasn't very generous and a few of the dishes like the eggplant were so salty we couldn't eat them. Cocktails were "ok" as well.

Amazing coffee, delicious Food, cozy atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. Mecca Bah is a must visit if you're in the gasworks & Newstead area, in fact I'd go so far to say that Mecca Bah should be a destination in its own right. It's the attention to detail that makes the food standout for me: a swipe of labneh and a flourish of fresh chilli with the fried cauliflower; a salad of fresh herbs, red onion, tomato and pine nuts adorning the fried halloumi cheese. Vegetarians will be well satisfied here and the team have always been very accommodating swapping for gluten free options, the gf pizza bases are absolutely delicious.

Really gone downhill. Since moving locations the food has got a lot worse, portions much smaller and service worse. We had the platter and for 4. It cost an extra $36 for one mezze and a pathetic dessert ‘platter’ (which was one piece of Turkish delight cut into 4 cubes - they must have run out but at least replace with something else or offer a refund). Gave this place another chance and they blew it!
