Manta Restaurant

We had a most enjoyable evening at Manta. The ambience was pleasant. The food was of high quality and reasonably priced for a special celebration. All the staff were friendly and Linda, our waitress, helped to make our evening special. We weren't rushed to move on and service timing was good. We didn't feel crowded by other diners. I would definitely return to Manta.

Situated on wharf with all the other fine dinning restaurants offering up views over the water and great for people watching. Perfect for a long lunch in the winter sun. We had an experience menu consisting of 6 course seafood degustation with a welcome glass of Veuve. Every dish was on point as you would expect, but the serving sizes were spot on too. Did not leave us wanting more like others along this row. Our sommelier helped us select the perfect wine for our lunch. Matched the majority of the dishes perfectly. Service was attentive, friendly and attitude free. Highly recommended above some of the more known restaurants next door.

Food was lovely. Great location. Desserts were delicious. Cocktail menu is fantastic. Great wine list too. Street parking available with a short walk. Customer service could improve.

Staff were excellent. Food, not worth what you pay for it. A Morton Bay bug comes without a tail as well apparently, that’s the part you want to eat!!! And I do not understand how a bottle of wine can have a $100 mark up on it! Seriously. Understand it’s a fancy place, but it is not that fancy for what you pay.

I usually don’t write reviews but after our dining experience for my partners birthday, I felt obliged to express how great our experience was! The lobster rigatoni was a personal favourite and the octopus was a close second. Amazing food and ambience. Thank you for having us!

My wife and I enjoyed that calm and nice evening in Manta restaurant very much. Every dish is extremely tasty, and sauces are delicious. We decided to go with sea food on a la carte. White wine and Tuscan Margarita are perfect.

Beautiful views, wonderful food and excellent service. Even though we had a 2 hour booking we stayed till 11 pm! Mains are roughly $50 each but beautifully presented and good portion size especially the fish. (You will also need to add sides to your meals.)

We loved the venue space at Manta on the Cowper Quay in Woolloomooloo. The waiters were friendly and helpful although they bordered on pushy about the side dishes. The entrees were delicious and all the ingredients were very fresh. The mains were late in coming but worth the wait as they were also delicious. The seafood is so tasty! The sun was a bit tricky for members of my table who were exposed to afternoon temperatures. We found our experience positive and as visitors from interstate we would recommend the restaurant to those who would like to enjoy Sydney dining in a relaxed but chic environment by the water - a great alternative to Watson's Bay close to the CBD.

What an amazing experience. We have been once before but this tops even that night. Our waitress Linda just made the whole night so great. What a rockstar. Helpful and attentive 😁. Back soon
