Mama Mulan

Absolutely beautiful and unique yum cha items! We were really satisfied with our lunch. Not cheap, but worth spending for lovely dumplings. Fresh food, cooked well, nice atmosphere, nice interior design and even nice bathrooms!

Love this restaurant. The quality of food and presentation is noticeable. Service is good as well. I have attended casual dinners and birthday events here and there has always been consistency. I highly recommend the pot stickers and the sweet and sour eggplant. Yum!

The environment and food quality is very good. The beef ribs are strongly recommended. Nice staff and absolutely good service! Definitely will come back again!

The soup was very rich and pleasant. The beef over the rice was very tender and spiced very well.

It had been over a year since we had last been to Mama Mulan. I remember we had enjoyed our meal but there was nothing that really stood out back then. This time around however it wasn't just good, everything was fantastic. I don't know if there was a change of management but something has definitely changed. The service was great. We were met by friendly, smiling staff and were shown to our table. Our waitress (I think her name was Valerie) was very attentive and checked on us often (but not too often) to make sure we had everything we needed and to top up our drinks. The food was delicious. We had the banquet and the only fault we could find was that one of the dishes was a bit too spicy. I don't think that is a reflection of the food as it is on my personal taste. The food was hot, flavoursome, and plentiful. Mama Mulan is now our go-to for Chinese food in Chatswood. Great food, great service. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Mama Mulan is conveniently located in The Concourse complex in Chatswood. There is plenty of underground parking with elevators taking you straight to the entrance. The service in Mama Mulan was super quick and friendly; the staff knew we were going to see a show soon so they prioritised our food. The food was fresh and tasty.

Dumplings sensational. Duck pancakes a little dry. Tofu good, pleasing, as the Pork Belly was very very average.

Great yum cha spot in the heart of Chatswood, looked fancy with plenty of space between tables and clean. Service was good as well. All the usual dishes were delicious with the Ha gow, sticky rice and char kway teow being my faves, plus the custard buns at the end. Value for money was a little on the high side but happy to pay for the quality, location and service. Will be back again for sure!

Yum cha was ok but not as good as the traditional yum cha restaurants. Great service. Liked the lotus wrapped sticky rice chicken and sponge cake.

Great lunch menu for yum cha. The beef and water chestnut rice rolls, prawn pot stickers and the mango pomelo sago were favourites.
