Mama Dough

I love thé flavour choices and quality of ingredients but would like to suggest that you put a little more on the toppings as the last 2 pizzas I have had from you have been mostly dough. The toppings are so good please put a little more on. :)

The pizza base is 4/5 room for improvement but still really good. Everything is delicious definitely recommending this to friends.

Gotten Mama Dough many times, and it’s hands down the best pizza in Canberra. I could eat the dough by itself it’s so good (the garlic flatbread shows this off really well). Then the toppings are all very good but don’t try to hide the dough (looking at you Crust). If you’re in Canberra in the inner north or south and want some good pizza, this is the place to go.

I celebrated my 50th at Mama Dough and I would like to thank all the staff for making the evening so much fan. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Best pizza in Canberra and I highly recommend the Fresh Margarita!! Thanks again everyone.....you were all so wonderful.

EDIT: I used to go every second week, until I witnessed one of the pizzaiolos making pizza, sick and with snot dripping onto his shirt. I'm not about leaving an angry review, so I wrote to the venue about health, safety and sanitary conditions but I'm disappointed to report they have not replied or tried to get in contact. The pizza may be good, but I'm not eating there until I'm convinced that they're being made under sanitary conditions. I dare say that this is the best pizza in Canberra - and I have high standards (plus our friends ran a pizza restaurant for years.) Generous pizza size, generous toppings and properly made Neapolitan style pizza - none of that overloaded American style nonsense. I do wish that they had more choices for pizza toppings though - roasted eggplant, etc. There are only 6 seats inside so eat in the outdoor area (not fun in winter) or at Edgar's pub nearby.

Very tasty! Garlic flatbread was a little bit sad. The base was sour and flourly. But pizza was very good! I want to try fresh pizza next time.

Service & Settings: cute seating inside with outdoor heaters, there’s also ample of seating outside. Lovely service (they do phone orders) although there is a bit of wait (about 20-25mins) $$: good prices for fresh pizzas, you get exactly what you pay for ! Meal: the best pizza dough I’ve ever had, fluffy and soft. Toppings were fresh.

The pizza is good, not great, a little overpriced, and a little under topped. But it's a good "whole in the wall" place to have a tasty wood fired pizza, with a traditional thin dough. There's only a few small tables inside and about four tables outside. The toppings tend to be a little too much in the middle of the pizza, which means there's a lot of dough without much topping around the outside. It also means the pizza is harder to pickup, because the middle of the pizza tends to be a little soggy on the bottom.
